I hereby declare that the lecturer's salary arrears of 8 months be split into two. 50 percent for them while the other 50 percent goes to the students as compensation for wasting 9f their time in school. There's no glory without blood. You can't eat your cake and still have it.

A group of selfish people can't spark a revolution.
We know the many problems facing Nigeria, but going on strike won't fix those problems but rather create more problems, ASUU are aware of this truth too. That's why their main aim of the strike is 180% increment in salary.

then whenever you go on strike, prepare to have alternative means of income during the strike cus government won’t feed you.

ASSU knows they are already live trap in FG box, any unserious move by them would give FG leverage to do anything with them conveniently. I know ASSU would have know that, so ASSU won't try to flout the court order. Unless common sense has also elude them.

The union has lost direction for going on strike for 8 freaking months! No academic worth his/her calling would support the closure of the universities for that long. It's crazy! Do you know what it means to waste almost a year of students' lives Do they even have conscience

We know there are corrupt people in government, but there are also many corrupt individuals in ASUU and the universities generally. It is still ASUU lecturers that connive with university management to deceive NUC into accrediting programs even when the facilities are not there...

They are still the ones that indulge in admission racketeering, sexual exploitation of female students, bribery and all whatnot. In a nutshell, corruption is a cancer that has eaten deep into all sectors of our economy. It is left for the anti corruption agencies to do their jobs.

ASUU should desist from trying to achieve their selfish gains in the guise of "fighting" for the students, while wasting the students' precious time and resources. People can now see through the lies! We know they're not ''fighting'' for students neither are their strikes about getting rid of corruption in government.

This is not a matter of support or not. Regardless of any political affiliation, this Assu have bite more than they can chew.
When the strike started and I spoke with some of the lecturers, they were happy and calm because they were going on strike. They told me that government should listen to their demands and accept it that if not they will remain on strike and still collected their full salary. They ask me after collecting their salaries who loose? I answered that government. They never believed it could turn around like this for them.
ASUU have always been happy and quick to go on strike because they know they have nothing to loose. Now they have something to loose and some of u are still clamoring for them to be paid for job not done.
If ASUU is ever paid that 8 months salary, it is not different from a thief who rob people with gun in a broad day light

Yes they need to cash out. If you think otherwise then try to acquire their qualifications in order to take over their position. Those sitting doing nothing just because they called theirselves law makers without making any impact on the masses are been paid well while those making impact are paid less and you want them not to say anything.
