Hi guys, lately I have been urinating frequently,so I went to lab and did a urine test;I was diagnosed with Proteus Spp(Bacteria) I was told to buy ciproflaxocin,but I have been taking the drugs for 4 days now still no change.. what other way can I go about this?I urinate every 30 minutes.Please guys help me PS:My Sugar level is 5.3 |

NzubechiPeru:The result of your urine mcs should also include the antibiotics that are sensitive or resistant to the bacteria. The bacteria might be resistant to cipro. JJuanMiguel:Yes you are correct.im sensitive to Cipro along with two other drugs,but those two drugs are injection.cipro and one of the drug has SENSITIVE 2+While the one has SENSITIVE 3+.over 8 drugs was resistant. I'm not with the test result now,I would have sent it to you Please reply me |

NzubechiPeru:Was it a doctor that chose a drug for you? Try to see a doctor again, you should combine both injection and drug treatment. E.g if it's sensitive to Gentamicin and Nitrofuarantoin You'll take Gentamicin injection for two days. Then continue with Nitrofuarantoin tablets bd on the third day for 10 days. If you haven't seen an improvement yet, try to see a good doctor and tell him/her this |
