In the future, INEC need to have validation at the point of registration to detect double registrants.

That will save them the stress of having to waste budget, logistics, and etc to register millions of new registrant that would eventually be deleted.

Very foolish....
What stops them from deleting the old registration and keep recent registration.
I believe those perons that double registered misplaced their card & has no details to retrack it & for some many others inec never gave them their PVC.

Why not publish the names of those deleted on the website so that those with concerns will raise alarm on time?

I think you misunderstood. Inec did not delete the name of anyone, what they deleted is second registration of double registrants and this is what amounts to 2.7 million. Double registration were weeded out, not double registrants.
