This shouldn't be clumsy at all considering the level of technology that could be deployed to register people even in the comfort of their homes. A system of registration that involves virtual registration that can't be negatively manipulated can be designed and executed with the help voters card and BVN. ALL these fire brigade approach the goverment is putting people through is unnecessary 55 Likes 6 Shares |

Fools in power!! The biggest fools in the universe are in Nigeria occupying political offices. BVN Voters card International passport Driving license Common sense can't tell them to share database so it can easy for one to generate NIN online without going to the office. I registered for the first national ID. It is no longer accepted. They are forcing us to queue for another one. These sadists love to see Nigerians suffer. Even some telecoms are also useless. I went to MTN office to do a 'welcome back'. They told me to get a affidavit. I told the lady that my lost line was registered. That she should look into their database to confirm that I am the owner of the line. She insisted I should go and get affidavit. I walked out of their office and aborted the mission of retrieving the line. What's the purpose of the registration, if you can't check the database to confirm the owner of the sim? 148 Likes 10 Shares |

Nigeria is a country where all federal ministries have an informal rivalry to ascertain which can make life most hellish for Nigerians. One ministry will just wake up one day and decide that because it has been long its voice has been heard, it will formulate one yeye policy. I was never perturbed about the two weeks ultimatum because I know the telecoms who have the most to lose will lobby the government with billions of naira to look the other way and let business go on as usual. Wait for it, another ministry will shake the polity before year end to try and outdo the ministry of communication. 45 Likes 4 Shares

Hehehehehehehe Why am I not surprised? Though I wasn't expecting the crowd to be this much. Most of these people must have raked and fumbled online that they weren't gonna go to any NIMC office for registration. Alas, the place was filled to the brim. That's how they would go out to vote PDP/APC in 2023 after cursing politicians online. But wait oo, I'm too relaxed for someone who doesn't have NIN. Nothing do me jare. 13 Likes 1 Share |

What I don't understand is that after checking my sim card, I found out it has been linked to NIN even though I have never registered for NIN. Is something wrong somewhere? 1 Like |

These telecom operators will lose a whole lot of subscribers if they should enforce this exercise. Many people with simcards in Nigeria doesn't even have National ID card, not to talk of voters card, this government should consider the citizens for once. Besides the time frame they gave is short, I believe some students left theirs back in their various hostel in school. Me wey never see money buy cloth and perhaps retire my only shoe from active service due to old age this Xmas will go back school and get my NIN? abeg I get many things to worry about my life. |

The ministers not performing in PMB government are majorly from the North, like Isa Pantami. The ministers and other appointees riddled with corruption and scandal in PMB government are majorly from the North. Terrorist region in Africa is the North African. The holy book the bible also said fear North. The poorest Canadian provinces are the Northern provinces like Yukon, North-West territory and Nuvaut. In Canada Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and British Columbia poorest cities and towns are in the Northern part. Trouble region in France is the Northern region. What is it with the North. Can any good thing come out from the North? 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Just look at how unorganised the whole process is? And will always be in this country. Tomorrow, someone will come to Nairaland to open a thread on how Nigeria is better than Europe. Summary: We are always at war with ourselves first. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Sparogatively, I don't know why most Nigerians like to panic. As young as I am, I am already wise enough not to let panic attack kill me. I am always shocked when I see elderly people whose death are seemingly closer, panicking. What hurts me most is that these officials have no regard for age, putting the elderly through hardship and insults. How I wish it was only my type of people that made up at least 190 million out of the 200 million Nigerians we have. I for see whether those network providers no go form union begin dey protest for street against these clueless government themselves. 13 Likes 2 Shares |
