With no or little eggwhite discharge unlike before when it use to be so much. Till now I have not seen AF. I don't know if I should return to the doctor or wait a while. Please help

After managing it at home for few days I decided to take him to d hospital, the doc said he didn't have diarrhea but ear infection, he pinched his ears somehow and my boy that was sleeping started crying. I shock
So he said we would run some test and blah blàh, bill was Sha getting much, so I felt like since his HMO card will be ready d next week, there was no need spending so much money I will just wait till d next week.
The pooping stopped that day Sha so I thought there was no need going back again when the card finally came out.

Two months later, my baby will just suddenly start crying from sleep o and wake up, I had to Google it and google suggested ear infection checked his ear and saw some white stuffs in one of the ear dunno if it's water from bathing or d infection

So I'm just dying in my head right now thinking that maybe my baby have been having ear pain for the past 2months and I didn't know

Don't beat yourself up about it Mama. It happens to the best of us. The important thing is that you now know and giving baby the best treatment.

It's that annoying colic, there is no treatment for it, it usually runs it course you can only try to manage it, I used infacol for my son which helped with the gassiness and helped reduce his fussiness cos the thing no dey gree am sleep back when he had it, plus a lot of tummy time plus I eliminated anything gasy from my diet also. My mum also massaged tummy with warm towel during bath time, pele mama it would soon pass

I remember only way my son use to sleep a bit then was to cuddle him in my arms on my chest, but please make sure baby will not fall o

Hello Layormiii, don't conclude it is still the ear infection get to the hospital first are you using a govt hospital? I would always advocate to use them it's usually cheaper and you can sometimes appeal to the conscience of some of the Dr on the cost of drugs, some will even help financially if they see you truly need it.

Also pls when feeding baby always ensure he is in an upright position if you breastfeed while he is laying down stop it, you need to always elevate their head to avoid food flowing into their ear and pushing bacteria there that may cause an infection even for midnight feeds also, that maybe part of the whitish stuff you are seeing. You know the ear nose and mouth/throat is connected

If baby is having any pain, please do warm compress to the affected ear to relive pain, ensure water doesn't enter the ear at any point please, but pls take baby to the hospital immediately, delay is dangerous

Hello mama, if it is for weeks better you see a pediatrician, when my son had cough and catarrh that lasted over a week the Dr had to prescribe some drugs/antibiotics cos it wasn't easing out and he said it was already infection, so pls see a Dr immediately but make sure to cover baby well and avoid direct fan on baby

Don’t worry. It took 9 months for it to get that way. Don’t automatically expect it to go back to pre-pregnancy state. Body differs but for me I started wearing a tummy belt the week of delivery. I wore it all day long morning to night for about 2 weeks straight until I couldn’t stand it any longer. My stomach isn’t totally flat now but I feel it could have been worse.

I think vitamin c drop should be helpful.. You should also include vit c in your diet so she can suckle it from you..

Turns out he doesn't have ear infection but malaria after we did the test.
Nawa oo how can a four month old have malaria nah
We've been given drugs tho.
Doctor was saying if I was doing exclusive breastfeeding for him he would have been strong enough to fight the malaria and he won't have it. So nah me e dey blame for giving baby milk so fast.

its still very much early for ur tummy to to down... Worry wen u r 5months pp n ur belly is still big, dt means na like dt ur belly go b oo.

my dear, der is notin u can do ooo... U can only manage it... Even adult sef no get med for cattarh, just get baby rub n rub her feet, chest n back for her to feel relieve frm any nose congestion... D cattarh will run its course for 2 to 3weeks give or take.... U can giv vit c to help baby build immune system to fight d cold. It took my baby 4weeks 4 his catarh to go away, gave him vit c, then i alwz put on d humidifier wit little menthol in it to help wit atmosphere n so dt baby can breath well... N den rub his feet, chest n back wit baby rub.

Babies these days are so conscious of food, see serious salivation when we’re eating. I was tempted to start baby cereal and pap when she turned 4 months till i saw a post on weaningiswinning’s page on ig saying the baby’s digestive system isn’t mature enough to process anything other than milk till 6 months. Na just to wait till 6 months

I always endure till 5months then be giving small small water,buh frm 6months I start giving baby food,cos in my own case i do exclusive without water

Once they re 5months dey re good to go buh we want to fulfill all righteousnesses,some start giving from 4months sef

True true, not all cry is food.. Sometimes its attention they need and sometimes, they want to bring out that cultural dance ability in you while at other times you can just hold her and play with her.
And are you sure her tommy is too big? How often does she poop?

Its advisable to wait for 6 months as they've always told us but personally, I'm beginning to drop things in my baby's mouth o and she doesn't spit it out.. I don't want a situation whereby transitioning will be difficult cos the older they grow, their taste buds gets more pronounced making them know how sweet breastmilk is.. In few days, we will be 5 and I'm planning to start her on Tom brown by God's grace
