I understand you, i am just saying nobody will put a billion dollars in making a show if they don't 100% believe in it.
Yes on paper in might be a gamble but i don't think any investor out there will gamble with a billion dollars.

On the part of the actress and characters, i am saying is that because of the vastness of the series, the role Galadriel is playing is like some sort of a limited role, shows like this that are vast, it takes time for the characters to grow on us. Because most of the time, they are not shown very often.
But i don't think she is a bad actress, it's just that the role she has been given to play for most parts of the series are somehow limited but you can tell that from episode 6 and 7, her roles are beginning to play out little by little.
Even in episode 1 when she was like the main focus, you can tell people loved her but the show isn't about her, this is why i said because of the vastness of the show, it's going to take time to get acquainted with the characters.

For example, not many people were impressed with the teen Rhanery In earlier parts of the house of Dragon, but she later grew on us as from episode 3 or 4. And it was because most earlier parts of the series was focused and centred around her so the more screentime she gets, the more we get to like her.

That's not the case for the characters in the ring of power, they can literally cast three whole episodes without showing Galadriel because of the vastness of the series.

This is why i said people need to watch and with patience and perseverance, with time, we will all come to love the characters.

It's HBO mate. And they hardly do shït like that just for the sake of it. Especially if it's a big show like this.

They're focusing on the mystery Bene Gesserit matriarchal organisation of that universe. Hence the name.

Even if you wanna see woman empowerment themes on it, HBO has a way of authenticating it. Just like how they did with the Velaryons.
I might be wrong tho.

HBO really never get anything wrong I just started watching euphoria and damn it was better than I expected the show as a better story than sex education when it comes teenage life struggles

Euphoria is a masterpiece show bruh.
The acting even for young adults is out of this world. When you get to S2, you'd know how unmatched that show is.
One thing I love about the show is it's unique use of music score to great effect. The show also use the music to convey the feelings of the characters.
That show and Stranger Things are one of the few reasons I'm warming up to 80-90s music.

Really? Not saying S2 wasn't a tad okay but it was overly dramatic for no reason and veered off too much from the central plot with so many subplots that failed to reach any meaningful end. Barbie Ferreira's arc in S1 was very interesting core subplot that failed to materialize in S2 with so little screen time that she's not even returning for S3.
