Forget sarcasm Sir.

If they search for his age on Google and they are led to this page, nobody will inform them that it is sarcasm.

I know someone who knows someone that knows someone that knows him.

If you don't have the fact, don't take the extreme.

At 16 I was in SS3 and wrote my WAEC when I clocked 17 and in my class then I had people who were between 25 and 28 years of age, so did I falsify my age if someone comes out tomorrow to tell you we were secondary school classmate and I am telling you that I am 30 years of age and you know him to be 38 years?

You may be right about him being 30+ but whatever will tarnish someone's reputation, just stay neutral except you have the full details pointing to the fact that he is guilty.

When I was in JSS3, my secondary school had it's primary school in the same compound.. My younger brother was in primary 5 back then and he is 3 years my junior.. One term like that, they had a new classmate.. It was easy to tell that the guy was old.. Definitely older than me..Maybe up to 5 years older than me.. Big guy like that in primary 5.. The story was that he was born in the village and never had the chance to attend school. He moved to Lagos not long ago to live with a relative so they decided he should start going to school..He basically had a late start..

I dunno why people come up with the "I know a guy that went to the same school with this and that" story to justify their age cheat accusation on others...
Even if Uzoho is indeed older than he claims, it's not sensible for anyone to announce it without having hard evidence

We have a prevalent culture in our country, of denying the truth and or the probability of truth. Even when we know the TRUTH.

Age cheating is an intrinsic part of our daily life, people working in government ministries and department regularly change their birth documentation to extend service time and avoid retirement.

Many men have married and or dated women older than them , without knowing. These popular terms official, football and or Nollywood age reflect the practice.

We do not have automatic birth capture data, so we rely on the integrity of people in a country where integrity is not considered an attribute. We rely on sworn declaration of age, etc .

We know our politicians falsify their ages , Jagaban is 70 but his daughter is 60.

I've been to a quite a few local football academies in Nigeria. The response I get 99% of the time , when I ask for a players age is always, "how old do you want him to be" not he is, 16, 18 or 19.

I understand the reasoning, I don't blame anybody. Value has an intrinsic relationship with age. If you reduce your age from 22 to 16 you may have the opportunity for a very lucrative football career. That can be the difference literally between life and death. That dynamic can change not just your immediate family but extended family life opportunities.

MRI Scan gives you an age that you cannot be in relation to bone fusion. But bone fusion is relative to several factors nutrition, health , environment, race, etc So its highly possible that your bones have not fused due to malnutrition at 20/21. You can scientifically claim to be 15/16 by virtue of the MRI .

HOWEVER, if your bones have already fused then you are simply not under 17 you could be 20 - 24, nobody will know. MRI cannot specifically tell you your exact age. I am not speaking with assumption, l had this discussion with a head of radiography at a university teaching hospital.

But as for Uzo, I beg leave matter we are not blind , Dude is an Agidi. shocked

Guy as long as na dem say dem say I take such reports with a mountain of salt.

I don't know Uzoho's true age other than the one he officially dropped. That said looking at his pictures from the u17 days it's possible he's still a very young man. Apart from his strong face I've not seen any compelling evidence that will make me doubt him.

I am not saying it's right, but the end justifies the means. The obsessive linkage between age and monetary value for football players is institutional.

African players are at a blatant disadvantage and this is one of the means to mitigate against this practice and give yourself a fighting chance..

Thats not to say age cheating is right. But age discrimination across the board with a good dose of racism, are also catalysts to the issue.

However, sometimes we African over do it.

I was at youth game for Manchester city FC , and there were two Congolese born players playing in the U13. They were destroying everybody.

They claimed to be 11but were bigger stronger than anybody else but in my opinion very minimum age they could be was 15 and even 16/17 very likely.

They will go far but when those English boys of 13 grow at 16 then that advantage will have been reduced if not overtaken. But at this stage they will already be in the system and even if they don't make first team.

These two Congolese boys might end up in the Championship getting £20k a week for the next 10 years, so it's still a successful career.

Why re you all mad cus I stated fact which I got from a reliable source?

This is common practice in Africa and South America so what’s the fuss about. We all mocked a local league player who claimed to be below 20 but way above that age from his looks when he signed for a Swedish club few months ago. Maybe his case is different because he isn’t a house hold name in Nigerian football

Like I said and still maintain uzoho is in his late 20s or early 30s. I can’t come here to make up stories just to slander his person but only stated the info I got from a reliable source who I am still in contact with till date

Ik who is 32 stated that he was classmates with uzoho right from shell camp primary school to the same secondary school in owerri. Maybe you guys should mk your findings as well and if am wrong I will tender an apology here

Where is that ogogoro drinker that said that a player can not be said to have played well as long as the player was on the losing side?

So, as Uzoho ended up on the losing side, why then is he being hailed as the player of the match?

No dey cap sotos. Always be rational and more logical, because you ain't no kid no more. I do not know Uzoho's real age, but what you posited is flawed. Chinedu Ajah of blessed memory, Anthony Stone etc were my class mates in secondary school, but while I and many others were 16/17 in SS3, these guys were in their mid 20s. Na dem dey bully us, even me as their senior prefect then, no get mouth where dem dey. So, if we go by your logic, Oforkansi "nwa Arusi" Chris Kels is the age mate of Edu Ajah because we were in the same class back in School abi?

Uzoho's class of u-17 underwent several MRI tests prior to the world cup and he passed. Even though there has been several debates on this thread and by experts elsewhere about the reliability of MRI testing,it has also been established that it is often times more accurate... That is a solid reason to support Uzoho...If he was from the set below 2013, I won't have bothered... That your friend that claim to be classmates with Uzoho, did he really know his age? being classmates doesn't mean age mates...There's no age specification for being in any class in Nigeria...

And again, Dem dey advice you make you mind your words.. If Uzoho should sue you now for defamation shey na "I hear say" you go take defend yourself for court?
