Good day nairalanders. I am planning on getting a Toyota Matrix or a Pontiac vibe and I will like to know which will be better economically in terms of maintenance and durability.

Pontiac’s body parts are more expensive than matrix’s. Parts like bumper, fender, side mirrors, windscreens etc

Apart from that they are the same vehicle engine and suspension wise.

If you buy Corolla, then buy a gun and a cutlass and also pack it in your parlour.

I prefer vibes and if you decide to get it from Abuja , I can link you with someone to get you something good but you will go for inspection and pay yourself .
I don’t know if vibes is used for Uber , please verify before you get it .

Both are okay. Buy Pontiac using Corolla engine not the one using Camry engine.

they are twins,but personally I will go for vibe,I think it ages way better than matrix.

Pointaic 2009/2010 is using 2az

I think 2003-2008 Pontiac Vibe has 1zz-fe Corolla/Matrix engine while 2009-2010 has 2az Camry engine.

If you want same performance as Corolla for Uber, I will advise you don't buy AWD drive or GT model; go for FWD (front wheel drive). It won't drag or consume more fuel.
