This is a joke. The runway looks like a basic auto traffic road... including the markings. It does not look like a runway for aircraft. You also cannot find any evidence of radar needed for instrument landing... making you wonder how planes are able to land in bad weather. 2 Likes |

Moh247:Why are you deceiving yourself? What are the two airports that Lagos has and who built them? Where they built by Tinubu? Is Tinubu responsible for MMIA? Lagos state doesn't own any airport. Lagos is like most states in Nigeria. It's the FG that owns and operates the airport in lagos. Delta state is the only state I know that hosts two airports. It's only recently that some state govts like Anambra and jigawa started building their own airports. An air force strip isn't a civilian facility. It is meant for military operations. I don't know how you conceived that it is an Oyo state thing. |

Currently, the cost of maintaining an airport is at the high end, how many people can afford to travel in & out of the state by air in a month? Osun is a civil servant state, so airport may not be adding much economic value to the state right now.
