Be wary of Northern Cyprus - Nigeria warns jobseekers, others

TRAVEL ADVISORY FOR NIGERIANS SEEKING ADMISSION OR JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN THE TURKISH REPUBLIC OF NORTHERN CYPRUS (TRNC)

The attention of the Federal Government of Nigeria has been drawn to the clandestine activities of unscrupulous elements parading themselves as agents and deceiving unsuspecting young Nigerians into believing that Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, provides easy access to "greener pastures" for studies and jobs opportunities.

This has led to an alarming influx of Nigerians into the territory in recent times. The resultant effect, being an unprecedented increase in consular cases of stranded young Nigerians in TRNC.

The general public is advised to be on the alert in order to guard against these so called agents in Nigeria or elsewhere peddling admissions and the existence of unverifiable job opportunities in the TRNC.

It is advisable that students and their parents/guardians carry out due diligence checks on any so called university or tertiary institution before application for admission is made. It is also instructive to be forewarned against deceptive advertising of job opportunities in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

The craving for leaving this country has left many youths worse off than they were. TRNC is one place where black foreigners' life does not matter.
I think people need to plan for this Japa thing rather than following the herd. So much to live amongst the whites where you will be treated like thrash. So many people out there doing badly but wont want to come back because of shame. As well as other people doing well there too.

Just take a step back and plan your life well. Herd mentality only shows you arent making use of your head.

U guys would ignore every travel directory from both Nigeria, USA everybody then travel to a country when u go there and get frustrated and stranded there u start making videos on the internet about how Nigerian government is wicked for abandoning u in the country

Northern Cyprus or Northern Nigeria?

It's not a recognised state. No country other than Turkey recognised Northern Cyprus as a country. So if you encounter any problems there, diplomatic support will be hard to come by. Also, your education there is worthless everywhere else except Turkey

If they don't want Nigerians to go there again, they should fukking fix this country besides that, their flimsy advises will fall on deaf ears... Unscrupulous elements
