One guy who was recommended by someone with an edge held car for two weeks then he went there and met the windscreen broken

I have my own story where I engaged someone on this platform and got my car back in worse condition after a 2 week delay.

Finding a competent and honest mechanic is needle in haystack stuff.

Another friend actually went on leave and sat with them in the workshop when they fixed his wife's car.

Sounds extreme, but once you have just a little knowledge you will flip out at the attitude of 95% of our artisans (not just mechanics)

The conventional wisdom in the past was get rid of your car after 4 years, because mechanics would have fked up so many things in it and diminishing returns will set in

The current conversional wisdom, keep managing the mfer
