About a dozen trucks conveying goods have been set on fire at Amorka, Ihiala LGA, Anambra state by suspected men of Ebubeagu and the Nigerian army. The truckers who were protesting the continued incarceration of Maazi Nnamdi Kanu by the federal government, had blocked the Onitsha-Owerri expressway when about 11pm last night they were attacked and several of the trucks set on fire.

The identifiable trucks which were caught in the destruction include God is Good Logistics, Young Shall Grow Transports and a host of others. Goods worth millions were destroyed.

This government reckless handling of this issue has made it to take a dimension nobody expected. Just to think of it that this same government had a plan to arrest ASUU executive members with the allegation of not obeying Court orders is in turn doing same leaves no doubt in my mind of what this government represents. My prayer is, May we never get it wrong like this in this country again.

A simultaneous protest was also underway at Abia state. Protesting truckers blocked the Aba-Port Harcourt expressway and heavy security presence could be observed. Several tires of the trucks at Aba were however deflated.

If the Northern people start to retaliate now they Ibo will shout more than the bereaved. Now is a crime for any one to be from the north, bcuz Buhari is from the north and the owner of the truck is an Hausa man dey felt burning the truck is touching Buhari, they never knew the owner of that truck and the goods won't forget this act.

A over all the owner of the truck and the goods in it may never recover from this loss.
