Why?

What a day, today was hectic for us at this site.

We thank God for his mercies.

We started to do the blinding of the foundation earlier in the week. We used sharp sand to fill up this foundation before we cast the blinding.

But that was before the rains came and filled up the whole foundation............

And prompted us to start bailing water from inside the foundation trenches before we can go ahead again.............

The walls were also caving into the already blinded foundation, prompting us to remove many sand from the foundation. The ground here is very soft.

I can imagine the stress... I guess clearing the trenches will be at an extra cost.

Yes, I had to renegotiate the work again with my boys because of a lot of things, we found an old construction of something, maybe an abandoned foundation inside this one, and we have been working with sledge hammers to break the previous concrete cast. Welcome.
