What we are seeing now is the result of decades of hardwork and strategic planning

These guys select the niche that they want to dominate...Mostly IT, Engineering and healthcare.

They also behave like a cult wherever they go. They have strong attachments to their culture and traditions. So, it is easier to keep in touch with each other in a foreign land, and also network too.

I don't really think population played any role. Nigeria is bossing every country in Africa in terms of population, yet we have achieved little strides in getting to the top

It's good you pointed this out. There are many Nigerians too and broadly Africans who have also made giant strides in different fields. I don't know why we are highlighting only the negatives.
I know that even in Britain, a Nigerian lady holds a very high rank in parliament. Nigerians also have good representation abroad.

Can confirm that number 4, and same applies with those Chinese to an extent (Chinese dey plenty for some mumu art courses), my guy in one of these US Unis told me that once they drop assignment like this, all of them go band themselves, form discussion group share amongst themselves, this one go do A, the other one go do B and time to submit share the answers among themselves submit. Some even go as far as sending their assignments to people in their home countries to do for them so they submit faster and are able to focus on more important things.

Nigerian's dey slack, customer service and online transcription, Indians don dominate the space totally...doctors and other professionals in US time zone work two or more jobs, minutes of activities for the day, dem go dey record on the go with voice notes, at the end of the day, they send it to Indians to transcribe, while they're going to bed, the Indians are awake, working on their job and by the time they wake in the US, it's ready.

Nigerian's dey try, but we need do a lot more collaborative work, these differences we dey harp on will always be there, but we need focus on money first, be united by our love for money. Like Peter Obi say's, economic prosperity will nip most of the issues we face in the bud.
