A good person wants to think, feel, and act properly at all times. Sin means failing to achieve that goal perfectly. It is like missing the mark when throwing darts. “There is no man righteous in the earth that keeps doing good and does not sin.” ECCLESIASTES 7:20. Sin doesn't only include serious crime, Any bad action, feeling, or thought is a sin. That includes such things as uncontrolled anger, cursing at one’s mate or children, nurturing a wrong desire, or giving in to a selfish impulse. Nobody can go through life without ever sinning, Can anyone honestly say, for example, that he has never violated the tenth commandment: “You must not desire... anything that belongs to your fellowman”? Realistically, we know that “there is no man that does not sin.” ( 1 Kings 8:46) Completely avoiding all sin, even for a day, is beyond our ability. Sin is deep-seated, Our inability to avoid error shows that sin is a deeper problem than simply committing wrong acts. We all inherit sin. We get sick, grow old, and die, not because we choose to do bad deeds, but primarily because we are born imperfect, inclined to error. We cannot rid ourselves of this inclination by our own efforts. “Who can produce someone clean out of someone unclean? There is not one.”Job 14:4. Adam and Eve were created perfect not inclined to error. When they chose to sin, they became like a dented cake pan that could produce only a dented cake. Thus, we have no choice in the matter. We all carry a dent like theirs various imperfections and wrong inclinations. In a word, the sin we inherited from Adam and Eve.

In the Bible, God says: “I am jehovah. That is my name.” ( Isaiah 42:cool Although he also has many titles, such as “God Almighty,” “Sovereign Lord,” and “Creator,” he honors his worshippers by inviting them to address him by his personal name. Genesis 17:1; Acts 4:24; 1 Peter 4:19.

The greek tetragrammation of YHWH is Jehovah. wink
It seems your jewish deity doesn’t exist outside the tanakh(jewish bible), the books you are quoting who wrote them?

Many people are told that we can’t be sure who wrote the Bible. But the Bible is often clear about who penned its contents. Some parts begin with such phrases as “the words of Nehemiah,” “the vision of Isaiah,” and “the word of Jehovah that occurred to Joel.” Nehemiah 1:1; Isaiah 1:1; Joel 1:1. Most Bible writers acknowledged that they wrote in the name of Jehovah, the one true God, and that they were guided by him. Prophets who wrote the Hebrew Scriptures proclaimed more than 300 times: “This is what Jehovah has said.” ( Amos 1:3; Micah 2:3; Nahum 1:12) Other writers received God’s message through angels. Zechariah 1:7, 9. The Bible was written by some 40 men over the course of 1,600 years. Some men were used to write more than one book of the Bible. In fact, the Bible is a miniature library of 66 books. It consists of the 39 books of the Hebrew Scriptures, called by many the Old Testament, and the 27 books of the Christian Greek Scriptures, often called the New Testament. Thank you smiley

The bible you hold now is a product of Catholic CANON, they were the one cherry picking which book should go into it.
The most complete bible in the world is Ethiopian bible. The 66 you are talking about is the product of early Church fathers
It seems your jewish deity only exists inside the TANAKH.

Each book of the Bible was accepted as inspired by believers from the very beginning. When Bible writing ended in the first century C.E. nothing about canonicity remained to be determined centuries later.

You mean the New Testament was written when iesus chrestus was alive?
Or when was he born?
Hope you know what first century C.E means?

When iesus chrestus was alive he quoted the tanakh.

You haven't even read the history of the bible and how it was gathered and you are here arguing about the bible smiley
Faith in the almighty God, who is the Inspirer and Preserver of his Word, makes us confident that he is the one who has guided the gathering together of its various parts. So we confidently accept the 27 books of the Christian Greek Scriptures along with the 39 of the Hebrew Scriptures as the one Bible, by the one Author, Jehovah. His Word in its 66 books is our guide, and its entire harmony and balance testify to its completeness.

Bible means collection of books, we have the New Testament and tanakh(Old Testament).
It’s you that lacks knowledge on the books you are basing your life on.
If all books were inspired why did they set up a Catholic canon?
Do you think the books Inside the New Testament was written in the same century? grin

Hope you know what first century CE means?

You are asking me why not do the research yourself how can you be arguing blindly, The Bible is in fact a collection of ancient divinely inspired documents. These were composed and compiled in written form over a period of 16 centuries. The collection, or list, of books accepted as genuine and inspired Scripture is often referred to as the Bible canon. Originally, the reed in Hebrew

The tanakh starts from genesis, and these exceeds 16 centuries.
SeniorMan715, Didn’t you say earlier that they wrote all the books inside New Testament and Old Testament in first century CE?
You are just making up stuff to save your deity face.
Even the tanakh went through canon, have you heard of masoteric text?
Old Testament was written in proto hebrew and New Testament was written in greek.

The canonicity of the 66 books of the Bible, all the documents deals with God affairs in the earth, turning men to his worship and stimulating deep respect for his name and for his work and purposes in the earth. They all give evidence of inspiration, that is, that they are products of holy spirit. ( 2 Pet. 1:21)

The bible canon you have now was set up by the Catholic.
The tanakh already has his own canon centuries before nicene Christianity was created in rome.
And the most complete and original bible is called Ethiopian bible, not the one that the early church fathers cherry picked.
When your jesus was alive he used the Jewish bible called tanakh, all the books in the New Testament was written YEARS after he died.

Sin is disobedience of God's commandments and teachings, the components of His very Law to us. Sin is the transgression of that commanded by God and is born of man's ego and refusal to obey God. Simple! undecided

No hand written original, or autograph, manuscripts of the Bible are in existence. the Bible has been preserved in accurate, reliable form because Biblical copyists in general, accepting the Scriptures as being divinely inspired, sought perfection in their arduous labor of producing manuscript copies of God’s Word.
