Tinubu has the Midas touch to be honest. Whatever he does, he succeeds. Lagos economy is growing astronomically. Within 5 years, Lagos economy may be bigger than that of the whole Nigeria. By that time, secession of Lagos from Nigeria will be unavoidable.
Lagos can never dare to secede from Nigeria else the genocide that happened in Biafra will be a child's play. Do you think the igbos or hausas like Dangote will allow that to happen with their investments and stake in Lagos.
Where do you want their importation to come from?
Lagos will remain a part of Nigeria till eternity.

Someone prepared the ground for the Lagos free trade zone and made it attractive to investors. There are free trade zones in other states too including Anambra but nobody is going there because their successive governors are nothing but dumbos. One of the dumbos is even aspiring to be president of Nigeria grin grin grin grin grin

The next big trade zone will be Kaduna... The state government is investing in it and making it attractive to investors.
Lolzz
Kaduna my ass
Lolz
Blinded by hatred for the igbos simply because they aspire to be president.
Igbos are the biggest investors in lagos
If they leave, lagos will be a graveyard
How many Yorubas own big business in Lagos?
Since i packed into my compound, my yoruba muslim landlord has evicted all the yorubas living in his because he said they don't have money to pay rent.
According to him, since i moved into the compound, i pay my rent ahead ahead angry
He said its only igbos and South South he wants in his house now.
If igbo people leave Lagos...........
Una go beg them to come back

Don't be stupid, nobody said BAT built the Seaport.

BAT prepared a free trade zone to accomodate industry like this, alongside Dangote Refinery. Hence successive Governor have a space to build upon already. So whatever is done on the Free trade zone, Asiwaju will always be remembered for investing here. Shallom.

Nigerian baby politicians and their ego. Amaechi confessed he is scared to enter his State because of Wike.

Is that the President Nigeria needs? While Tinubu was a deliberate and methodical politician, Osinbajo was drafted into politics.

There is nothing in his nature that indicates he would not have happily remained a comfortable middle class lawyer had he not met Tinubu.

Meanwhile Tinubu is a politicians Politician. A deliberate leader of leaders. He was a Senator in his late thirties.

He was fighting Abacha in an organised fashion, through NADECO, at an age most Nigerians today are still trying to decide what they want to do with their lives.

Amaechi, Osinbajo etal should drop ego and support Tinubu or they can get lost. How many battles have either won and what battle has Tinubu, who has faced more than most, lost?

Some will mention Obi. The coward was pleading with OBJ on his knees yet still got impeached. Tinubu not only stood up to OBJ but totally retrenched Obasanjo's influence, through the PDP, from the SW.

Nigerians are too petty and tribalistic. If not it will be obvious only Tinubu can weild power productively on behalf of the South today.

Buhari did same.on behalf of the North because he is authoritative and as iconically supported as Tinubu is.

Difference is that Tinubu is fairer, more tolerant, and more detribalised and more modern than Buhari. He will get more results than Buhari by far.

We should not waste the turn of the South indulging weakling any section of the country would bully with ease as happened to GEJ. Are we not ashamed at how terrorised Nigeria is becoming because North does not want to grant Nigeria modern and more effective policing and security architecture?

US, UK and European nations are evacuating their citizens from Abuja currently and we are still clowning around. The rescue mission belongs to Tinubu alone.

I am tipping Tinubu to be an Awolowo of today. A father of the rebirth of Nigeria. He will never fail.Unless of course death stops him.

The rescue mission belongs to God and not man, meanwhile, baba is very old and need serious rest. If he were his younger self, why not? He's not physically and mentally strong again. Let others be given the chance to rule, Nigeria belongs to all

The Chinese built the Sea Port, from start to finish, with the concession of the NPA, an Agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria.

They are to BUILD, OWN and OPERATE the Port for 45 years with a moratorium of 5 or 10 years.

All Nigerians will own the Port afterwards, not just the people of Lagos.

I am tipping Tinubu to be an Awolowo of today. A father of the rebirth of Nigeria. He will never fail.Unless of course death stops him.

so after osinbajo met tinubu and didnt end up being a middle class lawyer, how has that moved nigeria forward?

which leaders is tinubu a leaders of? what did he achieve for nigeria as a senator in his 30s?

how did tinubu fight abacha through NADECO? if you want to talk of youth fighting the military regimes, where will you put Sowore cos you sound like Tinubu was the only one opposed to military rule. isnt it the same tinubu that kola abiola said went to lobby abacha for ministerial position and abacha turned him down?

when did obi plead with obasanjo on his knees? did you witness anything of such? after obi got impeached, what happened next?

how is Tinubu the only person who can wield power productively on behalf of the South today? if it is about the interest of the south, why did tinubu support buhari against jonathan? you are accusing nigerians of being "too tribalistic" but here you are saying tinubu can wield power on behalf of the south. which power? who is giving him that power? where is it in the constitution that one man should wield power on behalf of the south?

what did buhari do for north? how did his tenure favour the north? is it the same north that is reeling from bandit attacks that has forced many northerners to abandon their farms and put pressure on agricultural production?

who in the world wouldnt get more results than buhari? how has buhari made nigeria a better place since 2015?

just look at this statement from you:

"We should not waste the turn of the South indulging weakling any section of the country would bully with ease as happened to GEJ. Are we not ashamed at how terrorised Nigeria is becoming because North does not want to grant Nigeria modern and more effective policing and security architecture?"

so nigeria is now terrorised? why didnt tinubu ask buhari to resign as he did with jonathan? are you now saying that buhari has failed?

here is another classic blockbuster from you: "US, UK and European nations are evacuating their citizens from Abuja currently and we are still clowning around. The rescue mission belongs to Tinubu alone."

which rescue mission belongs to tinubu? what is tinubu coming to rescue nigerians from? are you saying tinubu who is in APC is coming to rescue nigerians from APC? Are you saying that Tinubu is coming to rescue nigerians from buhari, the same buhari that tinubu boastyed that is the only solution for nigerias security and economic problems?

how can tinubu be an Awolowo? in what way are they similar? can tinubu go to prison for his beliefs as did Awolowo? or will tinubu play politics of what benefits him? is that an Awolowo? how can tinubu be the father of the rebirth of nigeria? rebirth in what way? what has buhari been doing all these years?

Saddists grin grin

And they claim to desire the best for Nigeria by voting for Obi? A lot of them online are so anti-progressive. They joined in shouting Edo No be Lagos with Obaseki...years after Obaseki won through PDP, they have never queried Obaseki on why he has refused to develop Edo state.
They never query their failed governors in the South East but will shout my state is PDP, PDP is my state, yet no development. In Lagos where there's development, they want APC out and PDP to take charge.

How can such people turn around and say they want the best for Nigeria?

I bet you have never shipped anything to Nigeria. Some people ship through the neighboring ports and it not so they can avoid paying duty.
Logic is not your strong point

Most people who ship to Nigeria have never shipped through Cotonou or anywhere else but directly to Nigeria.
It has nothing to do with congestion

The vast majority of stuff brought through Cotonou is cars and other ilicit stuff/

It is slightly cheaper to ship a Car from e.g Belgium to Lome than to Cotonou and to Cotonou than to Nigeria that is because of distance
It is also cheaper to clear
For many years cars that were "too old" to be cleared in Lagos would clear in Cotonou/
It had nothing to do with congestion. Cars are a RORO and if not contraband get out very quickly so stop talking jazz about congestion

On Tinubu...

Tinubu brought in Buhari , Buhari economic policies and inadequacies have sent us backward. Yes We are suffering.

Have you all forgot when Jagaban was excused from the government and you were all mocking him that he was served hot. So why did Tinubu have to pay for the sins of Buhari only because he supported him thinking there will be turnaround in all sectors of the economy.

Nigeria is in a developmental stage and Buhari did his own part too, in the history of Nigeria especially this 4th republic Buhari happened to be the most performed President when it comes to Infrastructural development especially in the Transport Sector.. Railways was reintroduced, New Airport Terminals were built, Road construction and Bridges.
But unfavourable economic policies crippled his government, yes he was trying to limit over reliance of importation by closing borders but you can always achieve this when local production have been boosted. Even the bigger economies have a percentage of foreign import to boost the local production.

I strongly believe Tinubu will be a better President out of the 3 owing to his previous achievement, anything Tinubu touches turns to Gold. I know a lot of you know Tinubu is a better candidate but sentiments have overshadowed us all..

side note observation:

if oyibo no help us build anything, we no go build anything. That means if we want dey 75% developed, we go need 40 million of these kinds of oyibos, make dem cun help us build everything.

it seems like we still have a very long way to go in development. We lack knowledge and experts.
