Honestly Southwest leaders need to have a sober reflection of what their region would have looked like without Lagos.



Funny enough Lagos was treated as a separate entity during the 1960s.


It baffles me how the rest of southwest states abandoned their state development only to be chanting our Lagos up and down, making it look like Yoruba land starts and end in Lagos.



Why can't they develop a seaport in Ondo, work on making Ogun state the next megacity like Lagos because of its proximity to Lagos.



A whole Oyo state is far behind in development all because Yoruba leaders only care about Lagos but will be first to call out regions that are single handedly building their regions with little or no federal government assistance.



Imo state indigenes contributed money in the 80s to build Imo airport.


Anambra state government built their own airport within 2 years.


Enugu have airport.


Ebonyi and Abia are massively building their own airports yet these people don't respect Igbos who build their region with their own sweat without federal government assistance.




No wonder they hate to hear that an Igbo man wants to become President, they want the marginalization of Igbos to continue while they use our communal wealth to build their region and still rob it off on our faces like they worked for it.



Time will tell, nothing last forever.

Ibadan has a well established and functional airport built long time ago, and planes land there everyday across Nigeria.

Ekiti and Osun are already building their own. Ogun has no need for one now because of its proximity to Lagos.

Yoruba men by nature are not traders
Hausa men are traders but their challenge is they do not speak English
There is nothing Igbo importers are doing that cannot be easily replaced
As a business model with the emergence of internet Amazon
,Jumia etc that way of doing business will become extinct.

Igbo man wakes up early morning and opens his shop by 7am, he eats his meals in the shop and always there to attend to customers.

Other people open their shops by 10am because they have to wake up first and lazy around the house and attend to other personal needs, but Igbo man eliminates all that time waste because his business is more important to him that his convenience.

Igbo man is always available on call, even at night when his client needs a tire replacement. That service you can't get online at Jumia instantly.
