I am just wondering, I have not used memory card in my phone, for close to a year now, this is because my phone has 64gb which I have not even used half of it since I bought the phone.

Do you still use memory card in your smartphone

Haha.. I bought one when I just got my phone but haven't had any reason to install it. Phone already has enough storage space and if it's getting occupied, I just back it up on cloud or external HDDs, freeing it again.

Am still using the memory card because of the tins i copy into while switching from the previous phone i was using, thou currently i barely put anything into it cause default storage location goes into phone memory straight

My phone memory is 256gb but I still use external memory

It's been over 5 years I used one. Though my phones are mostly 16gb internal memory, they are still enough for me. I hardly download videos just musics

My phone is over 4 years i can say its been over a year a an sd card entered my phone. Although i would still buy a phone with sd slot cuz that really helped back in the day when flashing custom roms.

I used sd stick to transfer to sd card

I need more space planing to buy 512gig sd card sef.

I've had my 32GB memory card since the year 2014, I now still have it installed in my 128GB phone. I just can't throw it away.

Even if my phone has 1TB of storage I will still use memory card, because the phone can get damage, and my data will be lost, for those saying cloud. WITH THE WAY THE TECH INDUSTRY IS GOING, DO WE ACTUALLY OWN THE PHONE AND IT CONTENT WE BUY WITH OUR HARD EARN MONEY, WITH BIG TECH COMPANY BRINGING ANTI-REPAIR POLICY??

No. But you can connect it to your phone using an OTG because the cable ends with a USB connector.

These are the ones I'm using for now. The hard drives are inside.

But I connect them to my phone using a type-C OTG to transfer files into them.

64gb at the time.... Might soon upgrade to 128gb coz of space.
