There are statutory provisions guiding the conduct and activities of elected officials including governors which transcend internal political party rules.

If I understand correctly, PDP is raising the issue that Mai Bala Buni as a sitting/serving governor is statutorily and constitutionally barred from holding any other office yet he served as APC national chairman. Based on that alleged illegality, PDP arguing that every action he took should be declared illegal and unconstitutional.

I was wondering if Buni was the one that nominated the people that were mentioned.
Some people are already jubilating over what is Bond to fail.

.Learn to read and reason without sentiments. Buni led leadership of APC produced Adamu led leadership which produced all the candidates for 2023 elections. The implications here is that, every action taken by Buni led leadership of APC is null and void since it's against the constitution for a sitting Governor to hold another executive position anywhere. In the case of Ondo State, Akaeti narrowly escaped because Buni was not added as defendant in the suit. When the verdict was given in the case of Akaeti,I mentioned here that by this judgment,APC was in serious trouble, and here it is happening. Except the court wants to give silly judgement, otherwise, APC is gone and never to come back again as APC.

If truely the case has been handed over to Justice Inyang Ekwo, that means that all APC candidates will be disqualified without odering INEC for fresh primaries. Don't forget in a hurry that this is the same Judge that ordered Gov. David Umahi of Ebonyi State to be removed from office: albeit it was not followed. But this time around, it must be strictly adhered to.

I don't think any judge have that kind liver to disqualify all apc candidates in nigeria any judge that want to do that will just first write his will down. The judge might likely use technicalities to push the apc through at the end of the day.

The only people eligible to sue in this matters. If Nigerians don't fancy the manner APC conduct it's affairs they can vote other parties. After all,it's not a one party affair
