Commercial Drivers in Lagos are not on strike. Danfos and other buses are working. If there is any form of Driver's strike it can only happen in Badagry axis. But all other part of Lagos doesn't experience strike. Transportation fare doesn't even change.
don't mind them big heads

We read about how bandits imposed N30m on a few farmer in Katsina and they are going to be transferring those cost to the final consumers mostly in the south. That means as agberos or thugs from the south seek rent on incoming goods being imported, directly and indirectly, the north too has woken up and are using banditry to collect theirs. The common man with a good heart is at the centre and suffers.

This is misinformation

There is a difference between legitimate and illegitimate tax and over taxation

All commercial vehicles pay tax not just in Lagos alone.

That of Lagos has some peculiarities which is not new and the beauty of issues like this is the ability of the government and those involve to sit at a round table and resolve their issues which is exactly what is going on and the beauty of democracy.

Definitely better than killing each other, killing law enforcement agents, destroying government properties, disturbing the peace of the land and generally making life difficult for the common man.

Let's talk about these peculiarities you speak of. Can you explain it to me like you would a 13 years old?

You obviously pretend not to see the political mischief in his intentions and would rather feel an unrestrained urge to attack me. Do you know why? He is your fellow Igbo.

My point is that he did not tweet for altruism yet we will not ignore the message. We always want to be better.

The problem with most of you is that you are too tribalistic and that's why you all are going through this hell in Nigeria.

Politicians has learned the act of manipulating you people like toll and there's nothing you can do about it.

God in heaven knows I don't believe in Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa because it doesn't put food on my table.

God also is my witness that I voted Buhari in 2015 and relizing that he is a block head and doesn't have business in government I voted Kingsley Mohalu in 2019.

I'm so concerned about what will become of Nigeria in coming years than playing ethic politics. I came from a very highly political family and I know how I fight with my brothers everyday because of governmental issues.

You need to deliver yourself and start voting right people because when politicians get into power it's them and their families alone.

Lastly, like I said before, I strongly believe you are not from Lagos just like the man who posted the information we are all discussing about.

Thanks for the investigative journalism. Oga O
Not everyday but Monday-Friday.
That does not include Police go chop, Lastman go chop, vio go chop.

What is going to happen - nothing. Until the people start arming themselves and start demonstrating .
Someone will release a press release and say, we are looking into the matter and that would be the end.

They agreed to be part of the union, if majority of them decides to leave the union, the government will negotiate with them. You cannot sign an agreement and then complain that it is unfair, you either void the agreement or you continue with its terms and conditions. Taxation exists even in yankee for taxi drivers, before Uber most taxi drivers who want to be part of a brand gladly pay the daily commission and taxes but as usual sensationalism rather than logic prevails......UNA NO KNOW BOOK!

Well, really none of my business since the citizens of the State are willing tools in this extortion racket similar to what was amiss in America in the 50's and 60's leading to the famous RICO laws of 1970 that took down the mafia that looks, walks and quacks today like the ducks waddling through the Lagos lagoon.
