It's unfortunate that you conflate Arabic script with Islam.

FYI, before the British gave us English language, there was a system already in place, for reading and writing in Northern Nigeria, it was Arabic.

Most people in the North that you call illiterate can read an write in Arabic. Therefore the purpose of the Arabic script on the Naira is for those who are illiterate in English but Literate in Arabic, so that they can understand.

Word of advice, Religion is for the masses, your leaders don't even care about it, let alone you.

Arabic is given to us by a Muslim nation.

In the note, there is English (Christianity) and there is Arabic (Islam).

If the French have influence in Nigeria, French will be added too.

Everything I wrote above in English can also be written in Arabic and it will be understood by those who speak it just the same way you understand my English.

If Arabic, an Islamic language, should be removed, English, a Christian language, should also be removed. They should use only the 3 most popular languages in Nigeria only — which is already in some of the notes.

The only bad thing is if they write something like: "Mohammed is the greatest" in Arabic on the note, but you can write "God is great" on the note with either English or Arabic.

Let's not drag insignificant things. Arabic is a language for Muslims just the same way English is a language for Christians. In fact, Christians have dominated the world by forcing every nation to speak English.

Lots of Arab nations speak English today, but lots of Christian nations don't speak Arabic.
