Doesn’t matter if it’s a slim or large Republican majority. like I told someone here; wave elections simply don’t happen in American politics anymore because the country is way too polarized and tribal now. We will never see another truly landslide victory for either party à la Ronald Reagan in 1984 or Richard Nixon in 1972.

The Republicans will barely win the House with all their gerrymandering (i.e effectively they drew districts so that they couldn't lose), in a year with incredible inflation and high crime. In fact, to tell you how badly they did, they had already picked up enough seats based on that cheating gerrymandering before the elections even happened. So, if the projections stay where they are right now, they would in effect have LOST seats. This is probably the best showing of any President in the midterms in 50 years (Presidents generally lose dozens of house seats in the midterms). I think that tells you all about the what AMERICANS think of how CRAZY the Republican party has become and the people they ran in the elections.
The fact you are shamelessly still talking about the SON of the President who does not work for the administration and was not elected to do anything and not ACTUAL policies you prefer the Republicans enact to address things like INFLATION, ENERGY, etc. is s symptom of that CRAZINESS and the reason Republicans didn't do better. Your party has become disconnected from Reality.

Something to note here is that the strategy of Democrats helping crazy people win their primaries turned out to be a good strategy because they won some seats thanks to that too.

Yes, both parties Redistrict, but the Dems don't do it at the level of Republicans. In fact even when Dems do try it the Courts in Dem states are much less likely to allow it then those in Republican states (Google NY redistricting). Dems believe more in actual Democracy than Republicans.

Bush's win was most likely and outlier due to 9/11 and rallying around the President.

Based on where everything stands, Dems will most likely pick up both Nevada and Arizona. But you are partially right, Arizona is less of a toss up, Kelly is up by 5% but by Mon. next week, we'll know for sure.
