Instead of giving kudos to the only Governor in Nigeria who did not leave any debt for his successor, never for once did we have record of this happening before now.

He always had something to say until he was nabbed by anti-corruption agency after his tenure. Something that didn't happen to Obi who you guys claim has no political ties till date.

Obiano was given a signed document of positive bank balance and other documents detailing state investments which could be used as an irrefutable evidence.

It is that act of Obi that brought that company to anambra. They employed hundreds of Anambrans to work there and that company also pay taxes to start govt and state govt is also a shareholder.

I think Soludo should chill the f**k out. If the State Government mismanaged Peter Obi's investment, that's on the State Government. People like Peter Obi are not interested in government coffers. They are self made billionaires and want nothing to do with public funds after they have left government. He's here to serve and leave. Unlike most Nigerian politicians.

That being said, Investments don't take care of themselves. They need to be watched and maintained. Were people just feeding off of the profits and not monitoring the market? Has someone depleted or sold off shares resulting in lesser value today? These are unanswered questions.

Let's take Bitcoin for example; and I won't go too far. After seeing how Bitcoin was rapidly gaining traction, Emeka bought Bitcoin for $20,000 in Nov 2020. He gave it over to Abu to take charge. Under Abu, it rose to over $30000, then over $40000, and as high as $60000 (three times the original value) at some point. When time came for Abu to vacate, he handed it over to Ola. Now it is worth $18,000 (presumably), and we're still going to call out Emeka? Worrisome.

No sane man will bring dollars for investment in Nigeria, because the amount you bring will not equal to the value when you want to recoup your investment.

Meanwhile, the issue with Soludo is not embezzlement or corruption but that Obi saved and invested(alleged worthless now after more than 8years ago of Obiano)!!! Soludo is being petty here.

You are not accusing him of stealing money m, but saving.
I'm sure when he made those savings, dollar was less than #200 naira. but today dollar is over #400 (official rate), he left government over 8 years ago, living behind money for his successor without borrowing; instead you to praise him, you are talking down on him.

You and your types deserve buhari system of government in your various families, where your parents will borrow for you the children to pay in the future. You don't deserve to inherit good but debt just like buhari is about to leave huge debt for the coming president.

Ok. Understand my point. Obi handed over to Obiano and Obiano handed over to Soludo. Soludo has issues with what was said to have been left behind by Obi. Obi claimed in his handover notes that he handed over what is in dispute to Obiano. It's only Obi and Obiano who know the facts. So Soludo should reach his predecessor and Obiano reach his predecessor with this, we will know the facts. Am with the three of them, I don't easily fall for the antics of public officers.
