Pick up the call

Zimbabwe flashed me yesterday....In my mind do I have brother or sister who is in Zimbabwe? I just Waka pass to other side of my phone scrolling

I get this same flashes from foreign numbers too mostly from Zimbabwe, Mozambique, South Africa, Madagascar, Angola, Italy, last night i got a flash from Montenegro.

The first time I had a missed call from this numbers, I tried calling back thinking it's one of my Japa friends, but ended the call immediately when I noticed the lil airtime I had on my phone has reduced, since then na look I just dey look them.

I wanted saying same before I saw yours. Happened to me 4 years ago. I called back and immediately I was informed I've exhausted my airtime in less than 3 seconds. Thank God it was just 600 Naira

Nothing can happen to your bank account as long you didn't unconsciously install a malware to your phone or laptop.
I have picked their calls several times when it's coincidence especially if I am pressing the phone and their calls enter. but me I never call back.
But for your airtime, sorry ooo. You will likely loose it. Your credit will be routed to a software that will convert it to trick the advertisers that they are advertising to a potential customer. The person that calls you get commission in foreign currency.
Think about it this way, you know that there are many services you can use to convert your airtime to cash back. Then you will understand its possible. Its all dark web. That's how I understand.

They are scammers. It is called "one ring", where they call numbers and immediately disconnect with hopes that curious people will return the call. The scammers use phone numbers bought on the dark web that they use to call other numbers.
The aim of the scam is to encourage those who get a missed call to call the number, after which they will be ripped off as the call will be re-routed to premium rate number overseas & will be subsequently billed exorbitant sums for listening to pre-recorded messages.
Then they get heavily paid as a commission for referring people to a premium call rates that likely pinch adverts to the listeners.

Anwo boiz ni. You will be surprised that it's even someone two streets away from you trying to run u up. One once tried me by the time I called him telling him his full name, street name and number and let him know I knew his family, he apologized and begged me not to escalate it saying it was a survival attempt. Be careful.

This particular number has been consistent in flashing me every single day.

Most of them are into call termination bad business. They actually wanted you to call back. The amount of time you spent each time you called back is a credit to them. If you call back, IVR will give you different options to waste your time and make more money for them. They just want you to call back so they can make money from your call that is terminated on their network.

Don't call back again.

Not foreign numbers. They emanated from Nigeria. What happens is the person is calling from Nigeria and the numbers appears as foreign numbers on your phone. You are not the only one.
