This is why he was utilised box to box more often at FCM. Funny how same Basco said he was exactly like Raphael Onyedika. If he watched Onyeka that much back then, he would have known the difference. The problem with folks here is they are so fixated on defending a lad rather than just seeing the actual truth on same player. Onyeka is direct but he is limited. Not press resistant and his ball playing is crap. But his energy is noticeable and he is very vertical playing with his penetrative and pressing runs both on or off the ball. I know this much and beyond but what irks folks here is how I label Onyeka as limited. But that is the truth. How they feel about it is their problem. I mean, there is a reason why a few tactical football accounts have reached out to me on Twitter in my DMs for my views and takes. It is no coincidence. Haters and idiots can only keep on hating and idioting. All I want is the Best for the Super Eagles and having a limited Midfielder in our midfield won't do us much good. Meliforme: |

TheSuperNerd:f I have been discussing football before you were born. Facts. Your lack of home training is evident. I know you will still spit your garbage under my mention. However, I won't honor you with my valuable time again. |

TheSuperNerd:I honestly don't care what u watched more than me, last I checked we are not in a competition for who watched the most bla bla bla. Plus the numbers can never lie and Google has all the numbers. All I know is that the same way Frank was switched back and forth from a DM to a CM in Denmark was exactly how Raphael was done. Raphael is clearly a younger Frank. They both can do a lot of stuff which made the coach use them to solve different issues.

You should care because you obviously didn't watch enough of Frank in Denmark to contribute soundly to the Frank Discussion. It's not a competition about watching. It's just a statement of fact because one who actually watched won't even need Transfermrkt to make a point. Transfermrkt don't have it right always on players positions. I have always emphasised this even when using Transfermrkt. Fact is Onyedika was always a specialist ball playing CDM. The fact he could be played as a CM (which definitely happened) doesn't alter the fact that he was different from Onyeka. Onyedika used the ball more and was more positional astute. Onyeka was always one to drive forward due to his box to box energy and was also used as DM due to his high pressing and Man marking attributes. Raphael is not a younger Frank. Stop the misinformation. It is obviously WRONG. They are not the same. BascoVanVeli: |

fabyom:I don't care if you have been talking football since Adam and Eve. Looolll... Rohr was also a coach before you watched your first game yet you lots including myself come here to question the tactical nous of same guys. If football knowledge was by age, then damn, who are we to question Gernot Rohr? Oga Rest! You are CAPPING RUBBISH. Bonke is no Press resistant DM. I have watched him enough to know this for a fact and one game ain't changing that. You look like a one game hallelujah fan. A player Shines in one game and you are all over him. Na so dem dey analyse? How do you guys even watch football? That's how I showed you our Midfielders' AFCON chance creation Stats and you RANNNNN. Keep running, Home trained Ancestor. Lol ![]()

AndSunGorilla:Honestly it doesn't do any service for either player. U will just have 2 different group of people disliking the players for no reason. Our Davido vs Wizkid mentality will destroy our football. Every time Nigeria loses there are Nigerians celebrating because the player they like was not selected or in the latest case because they don't like the head coach. The game that is supposed to bring us together actually drifts us apart I'm many instances. |

Ajax's Coach, Alfred Schreuder has come out to say he will continue with the CB Pairing of Jurien Timber and Calvin Bassey. So expect to see more of Bassey at CB in the Super Eagles going forward. I know Bassey has his flaw at CB but time will tell as he matures in the role. LB remains his alternate role for now. So yeah, right now, he remains our best CB in Europe based on a good catalogue of performances or specifically, he is our best LCB. To avoid issues of position confusion, let him be allowed to develop in a main position. At Ajax, it is CB so, for now, so be it. |

TheSuperNerd:Nigga, I think you should stop this self appraisal you always comes up with in this platform. For heaven’s sake everyone here knows each other’s capabilities and football discuss contributions. Nobody is doubting your intellect when it comes to football knowledge but self appraising yourself makes you starts feeling God and it’s such that kills a man abilities to learn more because the man will already starts thinking he knows it all and no need to gainer more knowledge |

What do you mean by "Always"? You make it look like I even talk about myself much when in reality I don't. It's always just snippets. So dude, what you call self-appraisal is just me not being afraid to say "once in a blue moon" a fact about myself that I enjoy unknown to the usual haters who just love to chat shit about me. And @bolded, I really doubt that. You probably don't understand human nature. I mean one olodo was literally mentioning 5 year olds... looolllzzz. People still lie to themselves just to feel better about themselves. Some folks are dying of jealousy. It is obvious. But don't worry about me feeling like God. I am not God. I am Me. I am just confident in my views and perspectives because they stem from well researched and well detailed analytical reports based on eye test and Stats on each and every one of these players and the reports are constantly updated. How I do it? That's my secret. And one last thing, King... I never stop reading and learning. I am a sagacious reader and learner. I remain a keen student of the beautiful game. A student who just happens to know so much and will keep growing in knowledge. KINGinVAHALA: |

Papi85:Kelechi Nwakali is more complete as a midfielder when you compare him to Eberechi Eze. As far as Nwakali doesn't play for Liverpool, you will not rate him. |

Bassey's role at CB and LB was a major talking point the last time I was in the Naijafootballers TV Show Studio. I just didn't post it here majorly because it is a touchy issue. Another reason was because not everything that was discussed on the matter made it to the show due to a rare technical sound fault. Let us see more of the Akpoguma-Bassey partnership going forward and that's assuming Bassey will be available for the game on Thursday as he left injured in his last game just yesterday. mostob:This is not about catching cruise. Eberechi Eze is a fine player, I rate him above some of our forwards. We don't exactly need Eberechi Eze in our midfield. We can do without him there. If Eberechi Eze decides to play for Nigeria, he will have to compete for a starting place at LW. |

That's first hand info I am giving you. ![]() The Very worst of the Worst that could happen is a club agreeing to pay the over 100M euros fee and allowing Victor to finish the season at Napoli before he joins them in the summer.
