charlesemeka85:The fact is what i am facing. Nwakali is a more complete midfielder when compared to Eze. Promotion can sometimes be delayed. |

jihday:I dey fear God. This is the fact. A complete midfielder in very simple explanation, can play the DM, CM and AM roles. You can say this for Nwakali, but not for Eberechi. |

Maybe he shouldn't have. Maybe. But you see, that's hindsight at work. And who can argue with hindsight? If you had made this statement back then, many would probably have seen you as a guy who doesn't seek the lad's progress because to them they would throw the question, "Who turns down a move to the EPL?" Me, I would have just looked at the perspective and probably kept mute, just watching. Anyone with good memory can recall how I always talked up Onyeka's exploits in Denmark. I was excited at the potentials I felt his performances in Denmark reflected. I was pleased with his box to box energy and although his ballplaying was still raw and average (and it still is), I felt perhaps he could improve in that aspect with time. I know he wasn't the finished article but I felt he was on an upward route in terms of development but since his move to England, he hasn't stepped up in terms of technical/tactical improvements at all. He's just been a workrate merchant and I am not pleased at all. And his limitations in the middle game just become more obvious almost everytime he plays but I still appreciate his Vertical-playing directness and his box to box pressing runs and energy. I call him Frank the Tank...coz he is a physical powerhouse but you see Tanks are for brawns. And the middle game is not just about brawns. It is also about brains. Our Super Eagles midfield is full of brawns. We need more brains to balance things out. The best is some who can bring a mix of both. Meliforme: |

▶️Peter Olayinka scored as his side, Slavia Prague beat FC Trinity Zlín 4-0 in a Czech Liga fixture. Olayinka now has 5 goals, 2 assists in 10 league games (9 Starts). Across all competitions in 22/23, he has 10 goals, 4 assists in 22 games. ▶️Moses Simon scored as his side, Nantes secured a 2-2 draw at home vs AC Ajaccio. He now has 5 goals, 2 assists in 13 league games (13 starts). Note: There was initial confusion from Nantes' official accounts across social media as they credited Simon's Goal to Camerounian Ignatius Ganago... https://twitter.com/FCNantes/status/1591820038671056896?t=JBLUyceUoFB0ip4MTL1rJA&s=19 ... but it has been corrected. Here's a highlight of the game (Watch via Youtube on the Ligue 1 Channel through same link as Ligue 1 media rights restrictions prevent it from being viewed directly on NL). See Simon's Goal/Assist at 3.55... Even the commentator affirms the goal belongs to Simon as Ganago truly didn't get a touch on the ball. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBMPxlUY6no

Meliforme:God helps those who help themselves and walk in Faith. 7 years of vagabond journey man across Europe Nwakali has ended up in a bankruptcy club in the relegation zone of the poorly Segunda division. Team got flogged by a Guadalajara from the Tercera Federación, this is the fifth tier of Spanish football essentially amateurs and semi professionals. That's like a non league club flogging a championship club. And some Super delusional call him Midfielder maestro and have the crazy audacity to make comparison with Eze. A reminder who Eze is below he keeps improving never remaining be stagnant. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dgl2KyZna1I |

It's quite remarkable that two Nigerian players sit in the top three highest goal scorers in Seria A. V.O. and Ademola Lookman, thats never happened before. Very quietly and silently Ademola is ripping this Seria A league in a not so high profile team. But nobody really calls him monster beast player , terminator ,etc. |

mostob:Your bigoted hypocritical and filled with double standard. Akpoguma rejected Nigeria publicly several times after requests were made to him, his Father casting aspersions on Nigeria in the process. But we still invited him well Rohr did If you compare quality and pedigree Akpoguma is not on the same level as Fikayo Tomori but actually well below. Actually there is no current CB in Nigeria that is on the same level as Fikayo Tomori to date. If Tomori agrees to play for Nigeria we should give him commendations and welcome him with open arms unreservedly. |
