andrewbaba44:Well, it has been long I watched the guy so I can't really argue much on if he is better than those we have. As for Tomori, you can't be too sure. Except if Southgate leave the job. |

Ppogbae:If you’re the owner of Napoli or the manager what would you do ? I’ll even do more than this self in Napoli owners position. Any qualifiers or tournaments you can go but you see that friendly ? Napoli must force am to drop fake medical report so that he can’t go |

Danielnino00:precaution ke? This is getting too much for both Napoli and osihmen. Osihmen is not the only super eagles player that is highly important for his team. Abi Everton wey release iwobi get three heads ni. I recall eguavon saying osihmen begged him to stay in Napoli during the afcon preparation. If he knows he will be using injury as an excuse while he is still in Napoli let him tell the handlers so that they would stop calling him and focus on building the team around the guys available. |

Danielnino00:Not exactly . The profile of a team is acquired over decades of outstanding performance and achievements and takes a lot to loose it. For instance Glasgow Rangers lost their top level club status when they were relegated to the third tier in Scottish football. On account of Financial impropriety. However, Rangers still remained a high profile club. It goes beyond the immediate HERE and NOW which is more relebant to players than clubs. For this reason Newcastle may be third in the EPL but they are not a high profile club. That's reserved for Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea , Tottenham. That's the context in which I regarded Atalanta as not a high profile club, performance in the Here and are doing incredibly well on a shoe string budget. |

komekn:atalanta is not a high profile club both in serie A and Europe in general As Roma and even lazio to an extend are bigger than atalanta The high profile teams in Italy remains juve, inter,ac Milan and napoli |

typicalgamer:An opportunity for another striker to rise to the occasion Osimhen isn’t needed It’s a friendly not a must qualify game We should do away with relying on one player Maybe Onuachu will shine on that day if he gets good chances created I’m hoping they don’t do this at the Nations cup These Italians smh ![]() |

komekn:What matters is the present... History can change quicker than you think... 2 decades ago, Man City were nothing but another average English team..now they are high profile... Same with Chelsea.. Atalanta definitely haven't hit the heights yet, but for the past 5 season, they have been consistent... They have been better than the likes of Roma and Lazio... |

charlesemeka85:He said better.. you're saying bigger... They aren't the same thing.... Atalanta haven't achieved enough to be considered a big team, but they have achieved enough to be considered better than others .. |

BascoVanVeli:The penalty and the 1st red cards were fair in my opinion. Can't talk about the 2nd one, I would think the ref should have used discretion for that. |

Amedino99:A complaint is s very different from an observation. I have been to talking about Ademola for years on this thread well before he was called to the SE . And even in when he was in Charlton athletic getting MOTM awards as a 17 year old . Maybe I don't go over board and that may be misconstrued by quite a few here as being muted appreciation of his one very precocious talent. |

charlesemeka85:I just don't know how a footballer with forward vision and looking towards to a promising career. They should know there are a lot of female barracudas looking to get a payout by hook or crook. I know footballers who have paid out crazy money to stop false allegations becoming public. |

I don't understand the reason komekn is getting such insults. What he said while not completely right shouldn't warrant such derogatory terms from people that are probably not better a human being than he. Just because you disagree with someone's opinion doesn't mean he is petty or a pig, One of the insulters is such that if he was the one on the receiving end, he will disappear from this thread for weeks to go and sulk somewhere I don't agree with komekn 70% of the time but the guy is brilliant. komekn, thesupernerd, and thegoodjoe with sir bascovanveli and andrewbaba44 are the most insightful guys we have here. Their takes this thread going. And i am also surprised because the mods saw this and chose to play favoritism. Some of you prolly lack home training. I know some gutter mouths would come with insults. Because they don't know how to disagree with hurling vitriols. Make una continue Oga komekn, carry on. I dey gbadun your takes and knowledge of the English game. Although I hardly agree with you but I can't argue the fact that you have deep knowledge of english football/footballers |
