At most Trump has 2-6 more years as an influential player in Republican politics depending on if he wins the next election or not. Because if he fails to secure the presidency in 2024 that’s basically the end of his career. Even if he wins he would be term limited in 2028. By then he would be well into his 80’s and even his most die hard supporters would acknowledge it’s time to move on.

Then I really want to see what all the Trump obsessed liberals on this thread would do with their lives. A big part of their essence on this earth would be gone. LMAO.

This should worry any right thinking and God-fearing person on planet earth. Moral decadence, abortion-loving youths, LGBTQ+, pedophiles, evil people, murderers, etc has now become the lot of the youths of tomorrow in America? All these evils for the sake of "enjoying" the transient pleasures these bring?

Demonrats should be ashamed of themselves and what they have turned a once thriving country into. And on the flip side, and this is what I believe played out during this charade of an election, this midterm election was rigged!

2. Young people are always liberal but typically become more conservative with age and responsibility like jobs, marriage, children etc. so that’s not an indication of anything. Believe it or not I myself used to be very liberal in my teens and early 20’s

3. Trumps style of politics will go with Trump. His biggest problem was his personality NOT his policies. His politics were actually very popular. You dumb liberals basing your entire strategy on him and saying absolutely daft things like “he will stain the party forever” is the honestly just laughable if not pitiable.

Once we nominate a person like DeSantis who has identical policies but with a more refined personality and less baggage it is over for you liberals. Hot tears are on the way so enjoy your Pyrrhic “victory” in this midterms.

Being liberal or conservative is an ideology. It has nothing to do with the actual parties. Party Ideology will change over time.
The current conservative ideology is "family value". A man and woman and their children. Mostly rooted in religious munbo jumbo. Future conservative could be man and man, woman and woman with their surrogate or adopted children, who knows?

The whole idea of conservation is about enjoying the spoils of wars the liberals fought and won.
Liberate and conserve.
Both parties learn to adapt over time.

It could be the republicans championing this ideology of gay family or going green In the future just to stay relevaant. Like slavery used to be democrats thing and republicans were actually more of the liberals in ideology then.

The more republicans vote dwindles, the more open they will be to new ideologies.

For now, republican as a party is being hurt because of the type of politics that brought a loonatic like trump or even bush (atleast bush is not as crazy) They have not won popular votes in years and I don't see that changing anytime soon based on the current trajectory. And you honestly believe that de Santis, another loony in disguise will suddenly be the magic wand that will make republicans become acceptable again after the damage trump has done and continues to do? Spoke with my cousin in Atlanta just now. He said he would be voting for Warnock again in the runnoff, and would be mobilizing more people at his office and neighbourhood...his reason was that the guy is a wacko and also a Trump man.
