It's obvious this talk is not leading anywhere... a former Gov makes a claim with evidence, the one that took over says otherwise without evidence despite the former having more integrity, yet you say Anambra state govt like both were not Governors..

Well.. do have a great day.

I'm saying let's assume both statements are true. You said you saved N75 billion but left N185 billion in debt. No be onye oshi you be?

Hahahahahahaha, it is disgraceful digging up an old lie. As a matter of fact, I watched Peter Obi's valedictory ceremony, where he invited the MDs of various banks where he had all the amounts he mentioned (the cash at bank). For each amount he mentions, he refers Obiano to the MD of the account seated there.

It was a Saturday morning and I was alone in my crib. After watching that event, I was left in awe, I had never, and I am yet to see, any politician in Nigerian history who has ever done such.

Thereafter, I started preaching to anyone who cared to listen to me the Peter Obi is the best governor to ever govern any state in Nigeria. It was out of this world. In Nigeria?

Victor Umeå did what Soludo is doing. Victor Umeå has moved to Labour Party with Peter as we speak.

This is a literal quote from Victor Umeh that was published by the media. Let Victor Umeh come and deny it. Obi left N185 billion in debt after claiming to have invested N75 billion.

What a smooth criminal.

Most Obidients are aware of all these things, but for political reasons, they've chosen to indulge in some sort of ...willful amnesia. Needless to say that minds are already made up at this point. Don't be surprised if even Umeh himself comes out tomorrow to say that he was misquoted when he made those statements. It's just the nature of politics, where sentiments and emotions override everything else.

Anyway I love how politicians are fighting obi. Anybody whose vote will be influenced by any politician is a big idiot. Politicians who are enjoying their lives, sending their kids abroad, flying private jets shouldn't tell we ordinary Nigerians who are suffering the failures of this government who to vite

Peter Obi has mentioned the names of banks and the actual figures he left in them.

If he was lying, the opposition would have debunked it.

None of the banks have ever come out to refute the over 75bn that was on their coffers..

So we should believe politicians of banks with CBN regulations?

I said let's assume...for the sake of argument. Are you so dumb not to understand what ',assume' means?

Yet is is possible that you can leave investment and debts at the same time. You can have investments while still owing money. Don't be a double dunce like pandora.

I also work in a bank n verified Peter Obi left hundreds of bullion in debt go n verify.

You work in a bank but we should go ro the internet to see ? Well attacked is what i saw on the internet concerning the debt he left.

ibechris:
I worked in the bank.

And during my stay in one of the banks...I verified this that Obi actually left huge amount of money to the state.

Anyone telling u this using propaganda would failed. If anyone here has a friend in banks,u can go and very this . It is simple to verify before u come to say Obi did this or that when it is very obvious that the account numbers are still on the internet for everyone to see.

Its seems you are using words you dont even understand, Let's "assume" what, if you are assuming, you assume the whole context.. "savings of 75bn, Zero debt" - Obi, "Zero savings, 185bn debt".. that is suppose to be the assumption.. now the former has evidence backing, the other does not. Both were Governors and yet you stick to the later because you are clutching on straws to massage the ego of the druggie... dont make your profile seem unintelligent defending stupid.

grin olodo assume meaning I want to humour you...

The concept here is investment Vs debt don't bring in zero debt and that has never been mentioned.

Obi said he left investments worth N75 billion he never said he left zero debt because even he admitted that there are salaries, etc yet to be paid.
Re: Peter Obi Left N185 Billion Debt - Victor Umeh by Sonyboom: 6:46am On Nov 16, 2022
You Obi supporter think you overwise but una foolish pass.

Where was the money he left, who did he give it to ?
Did any bank come out to claim Peter Obi have them money to hold ?
Did any coy claim he saved money with them ?

If Obi make a claim, attach evidence of where he kept money rather than a politician that failed woefully at governance for 8 years.

How can you make such statement... the confirmation letters are all over the internet, the banks were present at his handover ceremony and confirmed it.. please don't grandstand with ignorance, it make you look somehow, a little google search would have accorded you more respect.. the investment stories you hear today, would there be investments without companies?..

Obi has always said he left zero debt, in his hand-over he made provision for that end of month salaries.. enlighten you self rather than argue baseless..

You really are not wise, one can't claim to have savings and the other claim he left debt without debt analysis in the context, would the debt not be stated in his handover if any?

Rest... advise: before you engage in argument or even in the middle, have your google search handy, you need to know your onions.

You are the stoopid one here bro. Like I said, let's assume pandora is saying the truth for once in his lifetime,

Are you saying we should discount the salaries he claimed to be owing as non debt?

From what the governor that took over from him, we have now seen that he is owing more than the salary he claimed. He is owing a whooping N185billion.

Umeh actually said worst than that about Obi thinking he will curry favour from Obiano but later fell out with Obiano. The truth is that obi left all what he claimed, if he didn't they would long
have done the needful. How come none has drag him to EFCC or ICPC? Am still urging them to sue him.
