In politics, you cannot win everybody so you always go for the best possible alternative to win.

Surely, we have genuine people like your grand mum who will not vote Tinubu because of the Muslim-Muslim but on the long run, Shettima is a better pick for Tinubu than lalong when you plot the politics.

Even if Tinubu pick Lalong for example, there is no guarantee that Northern Christians will vote him with 80% of their votes. There is no guarantee that the SE people will vote him with that ticket. So you must appeal to your base in politics.

In 1979, Baba Awolowo chose an Igbo Vice which is a great miscalculation. The Igbos still don’t vote for him because of that and infact Shagari got more Igbo vote than him during that election. Even when he chose Isiaya Audu as his Vice, the Northern Christians still did not vote for him in their majority.

Borno state is strategic, in 2015 or 2019, the votes Buhari got in Borno alone is more than what PDP got in 3-4 states of the SE. lalong won’t deliver Jos with 80% certainty just as Dogara won’t deliver Bauchi and just as Datti Ahmad will never deliver kaduna for Obi.

If it’s not hypocrisy, which party even chose Northern Christian or true Northern minority as their vice? Why did Obi not find a true Northern minority Muslim as his Vice instead of choosing a Fulani Datti Ahmad? Are you saying there are no Tiv, Jukun, and etc that are Muslims that Obi can use?

Jagaban will clear the SW votes and both Muslim/Christians Yoruba will vote him in their majority!

Tinubu needs to clear the whole SW block votes of a zone because it would be catastrophe if he doesn't since he wouldn't get any block vote from any zone elsewhere. Even if the Hausa and Fulani ended up voting, they won't give him a block votes or they may end up betraying him altogether. Borno and Yobe are not up to a zone.

I don't think people in the SW are concerned about Muslim Muslim ticket TBH. They've got no problem with any religion however they've got a problem with a terrorist. And if Shettima is truly linked with Boko, then it's bad. I mean Abiola won the whole of SW despite Muslim Muslim ticket na. However with Shettima link with Boko Haram, that's not something they would want to hear and believe me, the opposition are exploiting this because how did my grandma hear of such in the first place? Imagine others that have Heard too. Best is for Tinubu to employ a sort of quasi role and bring in Christian Northerner in a quasi role with Shettima.

All his children are Muslims except iyaloja. He is fanatic muslim; he has allowed that to happen. Beside, Tinubu has worst proven experiences than other trial and error candidates in APC. Not carrying people along to bring worst out of them is not even easy as Tinubu has not proven himself a champion in human relation than other experimental candidates. Obi has more experience; Tinubu should learn not to run away or dulge challenges like he ran away from Iragbiji primary challenge to structureless party because of fair of failure.

Atiku, no, no, no for me if we roll back16-years of all round failure of PDP. Everything about him is selling-selling; selling that will not be adequately taking care off. Selling NNPC and other sectors to himself and friends. Beside, north should also allow south after Buhari, but PDP has failed to present from south. PDP should go and wait again, if Tinubu fails to deliver, PDP can come back but not now.

No doubt that defines him though, majority of yorubas has no regards for religion over merit, your religion is personal, am from the SW, in my family we have Muslims and Christians, we all celebrate Christmas and salah together, same with most other families too.. I believe he chose a Muslim for a political reason tho... Same way no one will choose a SE Muslim has a vice that's Dead on arrival.. But we must also give northern Christians a chance Pls to the highest office, the only Northern Christians that has ever been head of state or head of government in Nigeria were Gowon and Tafawa Balewa.. Balewa was a Christian before he converted to a Muslim.. All political.

If you have strong evidence, go and sell it to PDP, they need facts to nail him at court to disqualify him. You are more fake than him, if Tinubu is not the only human, other options like obi and Atiku are not better options we can select from. 98years Tinubu is better than them.

Obi is just like forcing fake presidential product on Nigeria as if you are forcing fake mobile phone on customer in Alaba. Good work will speak for itself; the blinds could see what Tinubu did in Lagos, deaf could hear about what he did.
