Wilfred Ndidi, The Midfield Octopus.

Put aside my analyses on his deficiencies in the middle game but today his leadership and experience in the middle will be key.

Some reports I've monitored indicates JP might still go with this 4-4-2 eish.

Bassey is 50/50

Seems Lookman has displaced Chukwueze on the right wing for the foreseeable future.

Interesting to see how our midfield will lineup.

My predicted starting XI:

Uzoho

Osayi, Akpors, Bassey, Ebuehi

Iwobi, Ndidi, Aribo

Lookman, Moffi, Simon

Preferred formation 4-2-3-1
Looks like he is going with a 4-2-2 with aribo as the SS

Camavinga didn't do anything wrong. That's just the sad part of football
Yea..I think I was wrong....I watched the video again and it's just an harmless tackle from cama. Cama clearly won that ball and Nkunku slipped which might have led to the injury.

I think we shouldn't underestimate this Ghana team.

Whatever happens, it is still one of our African representative. I'd support them if they can keep up with this performance.

They are currently two goal up against Switzerland.

Switzerland took out Akanji, Embolo and Freuler at Halftime. That's 3 of the Swiss' star men. But Ghana made their first changes at 62mins.

I haven't directly said anything in response to Komekn's constant use of "Superdelusional" in reference to me. I ignore it always. I know I live in his head.

Or isn't that also a usual trend that needs be stopped?

Also, you see how some various attention-seeking monikers come at me and You don't say a thing and you don't try to discourage those obviously ridiculous comments they make. But here you are holding Defensive briefs for Komekn.

Also, Komekn always puts out the lie that certain players aren't praised in here.

The latest was him saying Lookman hasn't even been given a nickname like someone else. He says we haven't called him Super Beast or Terminator or any name at all. Lol

Now, again I ignored but Chriskels couldn't help but point out how ridiculous his statement was.

So My dear Elf, all Chriskels did was show yet again how blindly controversial Komekn gets coz he was again putting lies forward.

As for me, I only said one thing in response to Chris and that is, "Sometimes, It's better to ignore and just watch how gullibles feed on Komekn's Agendas."

As for any other thing, TheGoodJoe has already pointed it out and TheGoodJoe is always the first person, or one of the first who would normally advise that we all should avoid vulgar language when addressing Komekn's agenda-driven lies.

So My Elf of Darkness... Chill. Don't make it sound like the whole thread has turned on Komekn when I practically have more haters than that guy in here. grin

It is what it is.
Academic guru.

I want to believe you understand comparison analysis.

That means by COMPARISON.

Look at level of unhinged euphoric praise singing that other players get in comparison to Ademola Lookman.

Ademola Lookman is a essentially a winger and is third in the goal scoring charts of Seria A ,that's absolutely astounding.

Your shameless in your double standard duplicity .

My assertion is very simple Ademola doesn't get anywhere near the same recognition and praise singing given to the favourites here.

If V.O. breaks wind you will sing a song of praise.

Switzerland took it easy bruv. Noah Okafor is the best and most valuable player in the Austrian Bundesliga and he came from the bench for this friendly.

They took out 3 of their biggest names at halftime while Ghana kept their XI intact till the 62min and this was after Switzerland made more changes also 62mins.

Only Kudus and Partey didn't play. They had everyone else. And Wollacott is injured. He isn't better than Ati Zigi who kept goal today for them. Ati Zigi is a super regular in Switzerland.

Truth is Ghana took this friendly more seriously while Switzerland only took it as a tactical test run.

Truth is, It is habitual for African teams to almost always take Pre WC friendlies far more seriously than their European counterparts and secure wins to instill a false sense of readiness and confidence in fans only to get to the main event and falter hard.

Don't try to shift the goalpost of the discussion. You said no one has labelled Lookman by any special nickname.

I believe you understand what making specific statements mean.

Now read below and tell me if Chriskels wasn't right about what he pointed out.

Did you lie or NOT? grin

Funny thing is... as a bonus, you can listen to this show below and see where I repeated my newly formed name for lookman thanks to his fine form in Serie A. See it from 12.58

That's checkmate, Komekn. wink

komekn:
It's quite remarkable that two Nigerian players sit in the top three highest goal scorers in Seria A.

V.O. and Ademola Lookman, thats never happened before.

Very quietly and silently Ademola is ripping this Seria A league in a not so high profile team. But nobody really calls him monster beast player , terminator ,etc.
TheSuperNerd:
Ademola Lookman AGAIN!

So cool from the penalty spot this bad lad.

7 goals, 1 assist in 15 league games (11 starts). Just 2 goals behind Top Scorer, Osimhen.

6 goals in his last 8 league games.

AdeFIRE LookMAN.
ChrisKels:
That was from same person you are aiming jibes at. Now tell us what crētin like Komekn has contributed to making Ademola’s name loud since his resurgence.

Another 424 this peseiro is actually Eguavoen older brother with his outdated formation. I expect Portugal to own the midfield. At this point, the worse that has happened already happened (No wc for us) we might as well hire a local coach that we can afford. Imagine paying $70,000 a month to be selecting out dated formation

I really don't understand my Good man Joe. I mean, I don't even get paid to come up with these names for our players. Lol... It's all just part of the football analytical fun. wink

And I certainly don't hold the monopoly on player praise. I am NOT the only one who talks up Osimhen or any of our other lads.

Maybe I am more noticeable because of the way I construct mine. But I am not the only one.

And truly we all have favorites. I know someone whose favorite Striker in the Eagles is Moffi and I respect that. I rate Moffi highly as well but Osimhen remains my Number 1.

PS:
And damn... Kevin De Brains all day!!! Over any other Mancity Player except Goal Machine Haaland ofcos. That viking is second for me at City. grin

The only reason you are writing Victor Osimhen is a good striker is because he has proven you wrong. You can try to act like you praise him but when he was going through struggles, you beat him with your words.

You were not praising Victor when he was struggling. You were wishing him failure. When you were making statements like Victor will struggle playing for academies, you were not writing praises.
You have presented this never ending FALSE narrative of , he hates Nigerian birthed players, but it's nonsensical in the extreme.

We have had this discussion dispute several times and I keep reminding you , perception is not FACT.

My comments are always TIME related i.e. at THAT TIME.

I will reiterate at THAT TIME V.O. would not have made it in a good English academy at that TIME, in Wolfsburg, he was technically naive and deficient.

I critically advised he should drop a division and or go to lower league and reinvent himself and then move up. It seems he took my according to you HATEFUL advice.

Old screenshot dating to July 2019 , giving my hateful derisory advice birthed from HATE , that he V.O. seemingly took, from his HATER.

The difference between me and you is that you do fantasy football ⚽ I do participative decision and in real life.

If V.O. had taken your advice, it would be to remain in Wolfsburg you are the best, keep learning and getting knowledge, training, doing the drills , you will make it. By now he would have trained and drilled himself into oblivion and you wouldn't be talking about him.

Please be substantive and not emotively presumptuous in the negative.

I don't suppose you have heard of the term hard love, even God discipline those he loves. Now who hates him and who loves him ❓

I think you have basically summarized the win as inconsequential.

However the Switzs chose to read the game and interpreted it playing certain players at halftime and benching certain players at the other half . You must realize that the two current top players for both sides kudus and Partey didn't even play. We can say it is also for precautionaryy reason.
But that's too lazy to agree with. The truth is the switz stars all tasted actions and Ghana won. The fact that their star players kicked the ball is more than enough justification of intent to win. Tactics or change of tactics isnt just enough excuse.

Of a truth, many African teams will perform at pre-world cup friendlies but will shrink at the competition proper, maybe due to the mental fever the tournament consumes them
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 2:16pm On Nov 17, 2022
Yes ofcos. It is inconsequential. If Switzerland cared for the game, they won't take out 3 of their main lads at Halftime and bench the most valuable player in the Austrian league vs Ghana.

The main event kicks off in 3 days. Any win there is what will matter.

Your last paragraph is the koko and will show itself true again at this WC for most of the African sides.

seems you have gotten the names mixed up. The moniker you quoted mentioned onyedinma but you are talking about adekanye.
A screenshot about my comments with regards to Fred Onyedinma.

My expectations are probably higher than most with regards to the SE. Once Fred Onyedinma was not an upward progression I stopped talking about him 5 years ago plus.

I had even higher expectations for Chuks Aneke, he was once injured for two seasons and I expected him to kick off rapidly believing injury problems were solved.

Unfortunately l was wrong he is too injury prone he has been in and out of injury. He cannot be relied upon sadly , so l don't talk about him anymore Or should l ❓

In reality if you were to compare these players to Nwakali the midfield maestro then you might have a think. Because they are doing a lot better than Nwakali.
