Our def sleepixng

They weren't sleeping they were too high and Portugal took advantage of the high defense line..

Midfield is lean..

No chance creations from the SE just players that want to dribble and hold on to the ball for long.

Took just one sweet ball from Joao Felix, who dropped deep, into the path of overlapping Dalot to cut us open.

Easy cut back and tap in. Portugal showing us levels and the precious gift of long balls to swiftly switch plays.

You wonder at times if na the same soccer we dey play with our European mates

The defense is keeping a very high line.. the players are too far from each other.

Very porous midfield

Aribo is doing nothing in that midfield. Onyeka or Etebo should have started. This Portugal team is not playing anything.

They can play.. just they keep inviting the wrong midfielders..

This is what you get with an Iwobi, Aribo and Ndidi midfield that you guys love so much..

We know Portugal is better and nothing to play for but at least show some seriousness. Not sure their mind is in this game.

Osayi deserves to be at the world cup. No wonder Napoli is after him.

We really need to start telling ourselves the truth. Moses Simon has no business in Super Eagles anymore. That particular wing needs a above Average player.

The wing backs are not going forward hence not supporting the attack.

I disagree sir. Aribo is most likely playing to the coach's instruction. JP probably told them to play a 4-4-2 and not a 4-3-3.

The only Revelation in this team is Osayi. But it’s too early.

Portugal easily creating passing triangles around our midfield and flanks and yet some say they aren't playing anything.

I laugh.

They are using the basics of ball playing and movements to finish us.

The wingbacks going forward is what caused the Portugal goal..
