Are we back to 'Rohr shouldn't have left' era?

Aribo and Iwobi has practically alternated their roles alongside Moffi in the high press.

And how many of those passes have Aribo been at the end of? Truth is Aribo is floating and not in sync with his midfield.
It was only one time he linked up good with Iwobi to created our only chance.

And the problem of this game is still tied to the midfield. We haven't been able to keep things simple and create even a decent passing sequence to build anything of note.

We are practically defending with a back 5 and everytime we win back the ball, they can't really keep it because the midfield isn't coordinated enough to recycle our plays.

The wingmen needs to do better but don't exonerate the midfield. They have been poor in possession recycling.

drDoom3:

These stats are not necessarily bad, especially considering the roles of each player in the game.

Aribo is not the one making those passes because he is the one at the end of the passes.

Ndidi is a destroyer.

The problem with this game is not the midfield. It is that we are not pressing high or making enough runs, Simon is killing every good opportunity on his wing, and our defensive line is not straight enough. Fix those and we will give them a game.

Why are you lying? You were a staunch supporter of Rohr here until the team started playing rubbish..then you made a U-turn and advocated for his sacking... It was when Eguavon was appointed that you made another U-turn..

And you also wanted Peseiro over Eguavon for the AFCON..

It first takes a good setpiece taker to utilise the height threat of the other players. The outswinger, inswinger and dead in the center ball deliveries require mad technique and Nwakali has it.

He doesn't get all the credits but let us admit that he standing behind a cornerkick can produce chaos.

We have had Semi feature in games before Nwakali came in but Nwakali brought out the aerial threat of Semi.

Now, in this game, Ekong is 1.91m. Akpoguma is 1.90m. What stops us from utilising their height?

BascoVanVeli:

Nwakali doesn't get all the credit for that. Semi Ajayi made us a bigger threat on set pieces, just his size caused headaches. He is also a part of that puzzle.

You have presented this never ending FALSE narrative of , he hates Nigerian birthed players, but it's nonsensical in the extreme.

We have had this discussion dispute several times and I keep reminding you , perception is not FACT.

My comments are always TIME related i.e. at THAT TIME.

I will reiterate at THAT TIME V.O. would not have made it in a good English academy at that TIME, in Wolfsburg, he was technically naive and deficient.

I critically advised he should drop a division and or go to lower league and reinvent himself and then move up. It seems he took my according to you HATEFUL advice.

Old screenshot dating to July 2019 , giving my hateful derisory advice birthed from HATE , that he V.O. seemingly took, from his HATER.

The difference between me and you is that you do fantasy football ⚽ I do participative decision and in real life.

But, the bolded is false. If Victor had gone to an English academy and got playing time, he would have performed. You can try to coat yourself high but the fact is that the statement was laced with bias.

That is why when he went to a lower league, Victor Osimhen performed but you want to sell to us that he would not have performed in an English academy.

Haba.

Temper bias with reality.
