TheSuperNerd:
Aribo and Iwobi has practically alternated their roles alongside Moffi in the high press.

And how many of those passes have Aribo been at the end of? Truth is Aribo is floating and not in sync with his midfield.
It was only one time he linked up good with Iwobi to created our only chance.

And the problem of this game is still tied to the midfield. We haven't been able to keep things simple and create even a decent passing sequence to build anything of note.

We are practically defending with a back 5 and everytime we win back the ball, they can't really keep it because the midfield isn't coordinated enough to recycle our plays.

The wingmen needs to do better but don't exonerate the midfield. They have been poor in possession recycling.
As we have always said. We need to appreciate the natural midfielders we have. The ones in the second division of top 5 leagues and in the Belgian, Scandinavian leagues etc.
That is the solution to the problem. I hope our coaches will learn this lesson.
Greatness lies in doing the basic things the right way. Everything in life has principles and a science. A car cannot brjn without engine. A bird cannot fly without wings.
Without natural midfielders we are limited.

You have presented this never ending FALSE narrative of , he hates Nigerian birthed players, but it's nonsensical in the extreme.

We have had this discussion dispute several times and I keep reminding you , perception is not FACT.

My comments are always TIME related i.e. at THAT TIME.

I will reiterate at THAT TIME V.O. would not have made it in a good English academy at that TIME, in Wolfsburg, he was technically naive and deficient.

I critically advised he should drop a division and or go to lower league and reinvent himself and then move up. It seems he took my according to you HATEFUL advice.

Old screenshot dating to July 2019 , giving my hateful derisory advice birthed from HATE , that he V.O. seemingly took, from his HATER.

The difference between me and you is that you do fantasy football ⚽ I do participative decision and in real life.

If V.O. had taken your advice, it would be to remain in Wolfsburg you are the best, keep learning and getting knowledge, training, doing the drills , you will make it. By now he would have trained and drilled himself into oblivion and you wouldn't be talking about him.

Please be substantive and not emotively presumptuous in the negative.

I don't suppose you have heard of the term hard love, even God discipline those he loves. Now who hates him and who loves him ❓
Then your time bound comments hold no wait, if you try to run a player down and then later the player proves that your point is devoid of reality.

Just accept you do not know.

People are explaining to you that with playing time and a run of games a player will perform. You are shouting that the player will not even do good in academy.

Later the player turns lethal, them you say your comment was time bound.

The difference between me and you is that I see the potential and pray for the best for the player.

You see the obstacles a player is facing and hope it is permanent and run your theories based on obstacles.

I hope your Osimhen will not do well in English Premier League is time bound. If it is,it makes the comment irrelevant.

The midfield is still an issue. The way the team cedes possession against decent opposition is worrisome.

You should have advised Osimhen to drop below the English academies, since their level pass him
Why drop to a lower league of higher quality than the English academies?

Our coaches are not ready to scout, screen and build a balanced team. They are waiting for foreign clubs to do all the work. Then just right list and do some training sessions. Then go and win the world cup. grin

a 3-1-5-1 formation with Nwakali as the CM that's what the team needs

Troost and Simon not good enough for this level.

For this game, remove Simon, put Chuks or Dennis in and move Lookman to the left.

Instructions should be route 1 Iwobi with Aribo and Moffi making runs in behind.

Portugal looking surprisingly vulnerable, we are just too fearful. Instructions should be to press high and hold the ball.

Long term we need two good centerbacks, both Troost and Akpoguma are not good enough. Simon should not be starting big games for the Eagles. Seems he is only good against non-technical African teams like Sudan, Sao Tome and Guinea-Bissau.
The same Moses is tormenting the Portuguese.

We don't need ball-playing this match cause the midfield link to attack is non-existent.

What we need is wingplay. Cross and....
