"Aisha" Letitia Wright really tried with the Nigerian accent. The movie was shot nicely and I like Aisha's relationship with Conor, it's just simple, sweet and nice. I also like the social issue of asylum seekers the movie is about and how hard life can be for them. I really learnt a great deal about how the system operates too.

This is exactly why he'd be perfect for Hyperion.
Putting on a acting masterclass isn't required.
Being convincingly intimidating is all that's required to sell the character to the audience.

Black Adam is a minor hiccup.
The Batman, Peacemaker and The Sandman has been hugely successful.

Marvel has been flailing to get their charm. No Billion dollar for the whole of 2022.

In the meantime, BA is as yet flopping in $300m.

I think we've arrived where motion pictures netting a billion will turn out to be extremely rare. All the more so if Hollywood keeps snubbing China.

I feel a great movie is being mixed with great acting.

Terminator 2 is for me one the greatest movies of all time and definitely Arnold's best. But did Arnold act in that movie?

Re-echoing this point: A movie can be "great" depending on the context and the bar isn't at "great acting".

Your reference "Terminator 2". Arnold Schwarzenegger was a basically a cyborg sent back in time to save a person, ain't much acting he could have done than what he delivered. The movie ticked the box in other areas and it's rightly one of the greatest movie of all time.

My reference "Silence of the Lamb". Anthony Hopkins was on screen for just 16mins and he got an oscar because he "acted" the hell out of those 16mins.

Point being...A movie can be great outside the context of "great acting".
