Oil production was close to the same rate it was in the Biden Admin as it was under the Trump administration and will probably be a record in 2023. 4.) And so the "energy independence" was largely because we were producing more than we used because the US was in a Pandemic. 5.) The reason gas prices were higher is because Trump negotiated a deal with OPEC+ to reduce oil production, because gas prices had gotten too low during the pandemic (people were in Lockdown) and the US oil sector couldn't survive with those prices. Imagine President Trump complaining about increased gas prices when it's something he negotiated. But that's the genius of Trump. His lie is quick and easy, but to the explain the truth is too long to fit in a quick sound byte. And too complex for "liberal media" to really explain.
