I got this notification from MyMTN app this evening. "myMTN NG 5:53 PM Recharge offer Get 10% airtime bonus + FREE data up to 2GB when you recharge N500 & above via myMTN NG app using your bank card. Click here to get started!" And since I wanted to buy airtime from my bank as usual to use for data subscription, I decided to give it a try. I already had N1000 airtime on my main account, and I needed extra N4000 to complete N5000 for the 40gb subscription I intended to do. After using myMTN app to recharge N4100, they converted the money to bonus, which means I can't use it for my data subscription since it's not on my main account.. I've called them twice now to tell them they should reverse my 4100 back to main account and take their useless bonus, but they keep telling me their usual "Our application is down, please call back in the next 24hrs"

Trendy247:You did actually recharged using bonus offer which gave you 24k foe 4k. I use MTN app and I enjoy the bonuses they gave. Yesterday I recharged 500 and was given 2.5gb. I used same 500 to buy 2.5gb and they gave me extra 2.5gb for 2 days though. Next time, don't go for the bonus airtime recharge which is like recharging pin card with 888 instead of 555. 2 Likes 1 Share |

workchopNG:My problem is that they didn't state they were going to convert my 4k to 24k bonus... They said 10% airtime bonus... Infact,i don't even need any bonus again. Make dem jejely return my 4k to my main account 1 Like |

The wereys did same to me some days back. After recharging with my debit card, the bonus they gave me didn't even last till the next day. I just quickly went to their page on twitter and lambaste them. Thieves. 4 Likes 1 Share |
