During every presidential election, PDP always finds a way to sabotage themselves.. Post presidential election, nothing is done to reconcile waring factions or maybe I should say their efforts do not yield sustainable results. This is one big advantage APC have going into the elections.
Debates do not matter in Nigeria

PDP problem is Atiku. After losing he disappears only to reappear and pick the ticket based on name recognition

A lot of politics goes on to keep the party together between 2 election cycles. What was the role of Atiku in all of these? When APC was having issues with party leadership Tinubu was involved, when APC was having issues in states Tinubu was involved infact many of the enemies Tinubu gathered were from proxy wars that didn't concern him directly e.g Edo

When PDP was having issues it was Wike doing this Tinubu role. When party had leadership issues it was Wike and Fayose. In Edo state it was Wike. And many instances

Now Atiku will just chill in Dubai come down and pick ticket. If everyone had done the same thing will there be a party to run on?

My thoughts in that post were not based off his decision to call off tonight's town hall but what has become a predictable situation for PDP over the last 2-3 election cycle.

Wike all along hid behind Ayu's chairmanship as the reason for his discontentment but many of us knew it was more than that. Many of us knew he desperately wanted that Presidential ticket and when he lost to Atiku he expected the VP as some sort of reward for how much he has put into the party.

To be fair to Wike, he has put in a lot of work and sacrificed a lot for the party even though I may not agree with some of his methods. At the end of the day may suffer the consequence of this fracture and division.

Yes and to be fair to Wike he has a claim to it. He was the one who kept the party going when the party was in crisis. There was a time when one Sheriff held the party to ransom

And its only right for him to have the feeling of betrayal. It was why Tinubu called that meeting in Abeokuta to remind the party people that where were they all when he was doing this and that for them. when Eleyi was stoned in the stadium, when Buhari was crying on TV when Oshiomole was cheated in Edo, When Fayemi was cheated in Ekiti, when Amosun and Ajimobi needed a platform

That is how Wike felt. when he stood behind Obaseki, Tambuwal etc and when it was time to repay him he felt betrayed,

Our grace left him the moment he left Bayern and the manner he left

That is evidenced by the fact that he is playing Yuropa which he never tasted in his time at Bayern

At the time when Wike, Ortom and co should have taken a definite stand for power to return to the South, they kept telling up that their stand was "win first before you share power"
Because they prioritized grabbing power from APC over power coming to Southern Nigeria.
So they had no issues when PDP threw it open.

And then when Tambuwal crossed him and he lost, that's when his camp realized everything had backfired.

Wike just got played by the North, I think they were fed up with his shiit.

He installed Sheriff, he installed Secondus, he installed Ayu.

I knew he was full of it when he could not face or call out Tambuwal who obviously sold his votes to his brother Atiku but has continued to hide behind Ayu as his main issue.

I am surprised myself.

He has called out every other major player in the whole incident but the main "culprit" Tambuwal.

Is he scared of Tambuwal or what?

The reduction of 1000naira and 500naira circulation notes is good but removing em entirely should have been better in my own opinion (200 naira note too).

Why will u allow a player under contract to leave just like that ? Without making anything from his departure ?

If na u get club u go just allow players under contract to leave anytime they so please ?

None of those clubs will be foolish enough to sign a 37 year old declining striker that will grumble the moment he’s benched for tactical reasons .

Boehly is ready to pay bucks for his head.

No need of keeping players that re not happy at your club( to the extent of a big player), it will make the dressing room unrest.

Lukaku asked to leave, Chelsea honored his request and shift him on loan, Chelsea is still losing big bucks in Lukaku's head compared to whatever man u will lose in CR7 head.

Man u f**k up, now they have terminated his contract, what's there gain now?

You didn't reject any bid but you make your stand "he's not for sale" that means u won't even entertain any bid coming.

He has no ground to call out Tambuwal. It was supposed to be a gentleman agreement not written agreement. He would be dissapointed but cannot call him out publicly because he wont have any leg to stand on

Man united said "he's not for sale" several times, they have killed any bid coming for his head.

Even if any club bid, they will reject it.

That's a normal term for every club he's not for sale.

No club was interested. Simple
