Corrinthians:it would be a herculean task to get that loan I promise you.. except this country changes getting loans from the govt remains a mirage...e.g THE nHF loan...anything that has to deal with the Nigerian demonic government is always stressful and discouraging.. |
Re: National Assembly Passes Students Loan Bill by Nobody: 2:06pm On Nov 23, 2022 |
drakeli:. Not exactly. And even if you get the job, your salary may not be enough for you. So how will a student still jobless after five years of graduation in Nigeria be able to pay back the loan? Another program bound to be bankrupt and fail. If the government wants to give handouts to students, let it come out straight and say it’s student grants. Good point. |

Gov't that has no regards for education, passing students loan Bill's that they'll never implement before they leave office. But nevertheless, OBI will do much well on that. And I wouldn't want to hear "it was the legacy kept by Buhari 'APC. Useless Apc government. They should Settle ASUU first... 1 Like 1 Share |

Whether your salary is enough or not, once you’re are tagged employed anywhere , government start taking out of your paycheck to service your student loan. Corrinthians: Gbajabiamila had argued in the proposed legislation that the hardship being faced by the unemployed and low-income earners coupled with the very high cost of living in Nigeria over the years made access to quality higher education difficult, stressful and in some cases impossible. But this should be what we should solve not creating more reason blocks for our poor standard of living. It's quite sad we don't have innovate assembly that handles bills that tactically address issues of poverty |

Parts of the oil subsidy removed could go into this but we still need proper Identity Management System for so many things. Part of this is the identity of those taking these loans and how to make sure their is no compromise. And make those in charge no go dey embezzle the fund o. 1 Like |
