Africa has already been awarded 9 slots
We need like 10
If two African teams make it to the quarters we should push for 10 slots.

Unpopular opinion: European teams with so many Africans in them appear not to be European to me.
Lol they look just like an African team but with Good organization/Football association E.g France

By first alphabet. Let's see if that will hold true after the first Match. Annoyingly African teams have not been able to score and in my head it seems Cameroun might be the first to score for Africa and also win their game and Africa's first.

I totally disagree with the notion of brilliant play not sinking down with Nigerian fans. Maybe the new age fans but historically, we are known for playing good football.

When you think of players like Mobi Oparakwu, Celestine Babayaro, Finidi George, Sunday Oliseh, Kanu Nwankwo, Jay Jay Okocha in a starting eleven. These players played with intelligence and flair. We for a long time played with intelligence and bravery. Sometimes I wonder how this negative play crept into our football.

The likes of Taribo, Finidi, Peter Rufai for instance played under a master possession tactician at young age and the Sharks Stadium then used to be jam packed with thrilled fans.
Bro we can't keep watching brilliant play and loosing, there is now way it will sink down well, at all, any brilliant play that we end up loosing is equal to failure, going to a tournament playing brilliant playing and falling out of group stage is jus totally off it

I doubt whether FIFA would make any adjustments to the continental slots at this late stage.

Dear NFF Caretakers:

I implore all of you to watch the Croatia vs Morocco match.

Please pay particular attention to Morocco in the 1st half and focus on how they held the midfield hostage!
Those ones will rather learn more innovative ways to be corrupt without getting caught

I have a gut feeling the Ghanaians would surpass many people's expectations

That would even put the questions of our defeat to them to rest. They worked for it and they deserve it

Ejuke is not steeped in entertainment football.. he creates chances and assists and that's what S.E needs on the wings especially the LW.. Tella and Lookman are not ahead of him.. Lookman turned to a ghost against Portugal... Tella hasn't played for the S.E yet so I can't judge him...

if Chukwueze was affected by such then he may have scored against Portugal because all he had to do when he was one on one apart from shoot was move the ball to his left or do a feint and dribble the keeper and score or lob the keeper...
Ejuke has the highest number of assists for Hertha Berlin despite averaging 53 minutes per game.

FIFA World Cup losses with the most possession:

▪️ 74%: Germany 0-2 South Korea, 2018
▪️ 73.8%: Germany 1-2 Japan, 2022

Nobi who hold possession Dey win match ⚽️

It is actually in phases. You win some lose some. What is the index of development is how well the team masters playing well and with time better results come.

African teams are yet to score at the ongoing WC. Hopefully that will change soon. I suspect Ghana may break the trend even though they will lose to Portugal.

Cameroun plays first tomorrow but I'm not so confident in them doing so but then, they also could if things click in the final third for them.

Meanwhile, The North African teams have played with bonafide purpose and true tactical understanding. Kudos to Tunisia and especially my 2nd Favourite African side, The Atlas Lions of Morocco. Well done lads although 20 y/o Elzzalzouli showed his inexperienced in attacking transitions. Talented but decision making still needs lots of work.

Icon79, it seems it is the North African teams who you tagged sissies that are playing the better football and getting decent results among African sides so far.

Up next Tomorrow: Cameroun vs Switzerland AND Ghana vs Portugal.
