Waiting for Icon79 and every other person who wrote off My Morocco to come and apologise!!!! I have told you before and now you are seeing parts of the reason I Stan Moroccan football. The Atlas Lions is the tactically sound and balanced team I want My Super Eagles to become. Fearless, disciplined and creative in transitions. Thing is we have a deeper pool to pick from but we are selecting rubbish. My Moroccan boys have proven me right. Up the Atlas Lions!!! AFRICA'S TRUE PRIDE IN QATAR

Morocco have plenty foreign born in their team that don’t know how to play the ‘African way’. |

Take a bow Morocco! Fully deserved win. Best African performance i've seen in a World Cup since Ghana beat Czech Republic in 2006. Dominant victory nothing lucky or flukish about it. |

Why do you think among the African teams since the Afcon and even before the Afcon, I always was vocal about my love and support for the Atlas Lions of Morocco. I saw something. Even back in 2018 at the WC, I saw what folks are witnessing today. Morocco, Brazil, Netherlands and Nigeria will always be my top favorite international teams. And among these 4, it is Nigeria that needs to get things right tactically and technically on the pitch and in selections. Blueelf: |

The spice of African football already left the West. It's presently in the North. West African football has now become a disgrace ![]() Congratulations to Morocco. |

early in the year Egypt beat this same Morocco. The very Egypt we also defeated let's be calming down with the if and whats. Funny enough Egypt also beat Belgium in the run up to this world cup. Blueelf: |

Blueelf:yup, if I was a betting man I’d have staked on Morocco win. If Batshuayi, Verthogen and Toby can be starting for you in 2022 then I’m not sure you are ready for the World Cup. The only reason why they haven’t been thrown out is because Canada didn’t take their chances |

elyte89:All the Moroccan players dropped deep to help the defense and midfield and maintain their defensive formation.. The S.E does not have a defensive formation and if they do then the S.E players don't have the discipline to obey and maintain it. The S.E lose matches because players don't press and drop deep to help the defense and midfield.. If you remove Aribo, Moses Simon and Chukwueze.. you'll see a different Super Eagles.. S.E will thrash this Belgian team if they play the way the Moroccans play.. SE has faster attackers that will reach the through passes Ziyech was giving.. |

From a perfunctory glance it seems the vast Majority of their players were born and or brought up outside of Morocco. For those who think that unless you are born in a country you can't play Good football and be commited to the national team. That's a big slap in the face of that kind of prejudiced and retrogressive thinking. |

Morocco was a bit unlucky at the last world cup in 2018 just unfortunate to be in a tough group. This present Atlas Lions remind me of Cameroon in 1990, Nigeria 1994 and Ghana 2006 teams that play with confidence and bravery. TheSuperNerd: |

The Belgians are not good enough. Even Egypt defeated and outplayed them in their last friendly before this tournament. I had high hopes on Tunisia and Morrocco. Unfortunately, Tunisia was unlucky. Morrocco truly deserved their win and I am expecting more from them. I hope you all can see the need for foreign born players. Morrocco and Algeria are building great teams by inviting their foreign born players. Nigeria must continue to pursue that process too. |

Morrocan team was timid and fearful like I have seen in all African team, they were not playing like it was privileged handed to them to play in the works like all the other African team has done… Damn they played like they are in it to win it not just get by, that’s what I expect from African teams, it’s not about talent , we have had talents in various African teams over the years, but same result, in years, this Moroccans have been the only team I have seen step up from the first whistle like they wanted win, yes we have scrapped win but most were jittery wins , African has talents to at least get a team to semi finals every World Cup, but they are always timid, fearful and overly respectful of their opponents that they forget how to play and just want to just get by and scrap wins, same nonsense that made Argentina keep beating us, made Netherlands beat Senegal, and also Portugal beat Ghana. We need to drop the sissy attitude after decades of so many works cut and start playing like we a competition in the World Cup… |

Great win for Morocco! They become the first African team to go three WC games without defeat since the Super Eagles did so between 2010 (vs South Korea) - 2014 (vs Iran, and Bosnia Herzegovina) |
