Croatia's 4th goal
If that was moses Simon that broke off like that he would never square off that pass to the fellow player. He'd surely go solo.
Or he will cross it to the other side of the throwing

But hey, me I have decided not to let any such wahala get to me, too much wahala on a normal day with the people wey we dey see talk less of people wey dey hia.
Morocco really surprised me, I hope they don't bottle it against Canada. Hopefully no red cards for Morocco. Still hoping for a miracle for Ghana and Cameroun.

This World Cup is the most interesting I've watched in ages.

Hope the knockout stages will be just as dramatic and action packed.
It's entertaining. I'm impressed

Not holding my breath on the African teams. Unless they have officially qualified I'm not hoping on any of them. Nigeria and Senegal only needed a draw to qualify to the second round in 2018 but we know how the story ended. Nevertheless today's performance by Morocco was top class.

You see that 'passion' you mentioned? Sometimes that's all it takes to win a football match.

Another thing is you should never ever count out Suarez and Cavani. I don't care how old they are. Cavani's movement alone is enough to make any world class defender look like an amateur. Those two can rip any defense apart. There's also a certain Darwin Nunez.

Ghana really have a lot on their plate.
Agreed without question

LOllll

All these guys you mentioned can be tamed

Where were they in their first match?

Oga, Ghana can win. It could go either way. Ghana should ensure they don't approach the game with fear

Football can be very unpredictable sometimes.

Nigerian origin player Musiala couldn't get one game for Chelsea after almost a decade of youth football.

He leaves very bravely goes to Bayern at 16 and within months he is in the first team at 17 very soon after he is on the national team and now his first world cup at age 19. He is going to play against Spain.

Who would l like to win , no preference, who will win I absolutely have no idea. But feel Germany are motivated and have a lot to prove, so just by emotion I think Germanu might win.

That's a roller coaster speedy progression.

Unfortunately he didn't opt to play for Nigeria.

Did you see that shot , I am not so sure Spain look very good technically superior.

I think Germany need to stop trying to outpass Spain ,they will loose. They only way they can beat Spain is with pace.

But Muller is too slow if not Spain will be in trouble.

MUller is too slow through

And yes, Germany should try to play the counter but through the wings. I think they have the players for that

The Belgians are not good enough. Even Egypt defeated and outplayed them in their last friendly before this tournament. I had high hopes on Tunisia and Morrocco. Unfortunately, Tunisia was unlucky. Morrocco truly deserved their win and I am expecting more from them.
I hope you all can see the need for foreign born players.
Morrocco and Algeria are building great teams by inviting their foreign born players. Nigeria must continue to pursue that process too.
And comparatively speaking Japan, Morocco, Brazil, Argentina have better leagues than Nigeria yet they rely on their players plying their football in the best leagues. Yet some people here argue for players from our decrepit local league to willy nilly be included in the team. Like I said naija made a switch since 1994, but some want to turn the hands of time.

Egbon sir! I get you!
Morocco has a solid team, even at AFCON they would have gotten to the final but were unlucky against Egypt. They will at least draw Canada. Cameroon not going anywhere. Ghana vs South Korea will be tough. Ghana can take inspiration from Coasta rica and get the win over Korea. But it will be difficult. Nevertheless, I think Ghana has the quality to at least draw.

Fantastic observations! Moroccans clubs won both the CAF club competitions yet went for foreign born and based players.

Of all the North African teams their skin seems more darkened than the rest and they actually do see themselves as Africans. At a time say about 12years ago they wanted to join ECOWAS.
I think they have joined ECOWAS

Before 1994, we had been using mostly foreign based players. I dare say te reason why we had a lot of local players at the 90 ANC was because the foreign based players didn't show up. The 92 ANC team was majorly foreign based players who used to start the games. A mix of local players ( finidi george, babalade, alatishe, john ene okon, oliha, edema fuludu) but majorly foreign based, whether it be CIV or Gabon
