I don't know about Ogun state but I was in Osun state last year and I saw young people of about 20 years that can't speak or understand simple English. When you ask a simple question in English they will reply with "Mogbo Englis" or something like that.

The out of school children in Lagos are not indigenes of Lagos. They are the children of the parents from other states and housemaids and houseboys trafficked from the neighbouring countries of the Republic of Benin and Togo.

Fun fact: There are more out-of-school children in Lagos than in Katsina state.

Any state with a single out-of-school child has failed. Every child should have access to education. So, there's nothing to celebrate in having the lowest out- of- school children.

The South Eastern states are doing well in this regard.
That's good we need more good news coming from the region.
