I am asking then to know, which faction is truly in control of IPOB and the Igbo masses given that Mondays are religiously adhered to ,thus making Ekpa's faction seem the more powerful, obeyed and the one with physical presence on ground across the SE.

But going through posts and topics regarding Simon Ekpa and that by a handle that bears the same name, most Igbo posters do not mince words in insulting Ekpa.

It is either Ekpa controls the streets and villages of Alaigbo but is somehow hated online by most Biafrans .

I seem not to understand this anomaly.

Is it that most Igbo posters here are scared to death of Ekpa in real life and only come online to insult him ?

Whenever I tell my Igbo acquaintances I have been all over the SE , a look of dread comes upon them as they now know o know that everything they've been boasting and bragging about their region is totally false.

None of the two are in control... The real militias causing havoc in towns doesn't take orders from Emma powerful or Simon Ekpa.

That's what observers don't understand... The whole stuff is not structured or has a pyramid chain of command as most people think... No!

it actually consist of uncountable small groups and even smaller groups(sometimes just around 9 men and women with access to weapons) operating on their own...

Most of them are confused, doesn't even know what they are doing or what the actual plan/mission is supposed to be.
