For me, from N80k per month, the wicked Boss slashed it to N40K without explanation.

It was later revealed that the man slashes all his employees salary by half after working with him for few months.

I didn't even resign, i walked out of that job when the verbal humiliation was too much...plus the fact that we work from Monday to Sunday. No casual leave, no overtime, nothing....

But the fact is that I left becos it didn't make sense paying a graduate with family N40K when akara vendors or barbers make more....

Well, maybe the state of the economy has taken away the nerves of men to say "NO" to an abusive Boss.

I find myself very uncomfortable when I hear a Boss call his or her Staff a "MAD MAN" , "IDIOT", " FOOL AT FORTY", "USELESS" etc

I wouldn't take that from any Boss .
