Good evening House,

Driving a 2011 Camry, recently the engine do turn off while in motion/driving. I’ll have to park and start again.

At a point, I was told it’s the Fuel Pump, it was changed, same issue. Later the battery couldn’t start the car again. I was advised to changed that too, which I did, a Brand new one. But I’m having the same issue.

Car still turn off while driving. I’ll have to park and start again, which always come back on at the first kick..


And also, I noticed this part of the Engine is open, I don’t if it’s normal. I just got the car Tokunbo.

I reported the case to a DIG and 2 DPOs yesterday... They told me I shouldn't stress myself at all. They told me to find out how much is a new catalyst from eBay. The mechanic has been begging since yesterday. The excuse he gave for removing the catalyst was dat he tot, it cud be the one causing overheating (possibly clogged up), he decided to sell the catalyst but since I raised the alarm of strange noise from the exhaust, he has gone to buy a China catalyst as replacement and that is what is in the welded section of the exhaust.... Omo, the DIG and DPOs no even wan hear that story ooo, they said that story is for me and not for them. The mechanic has been begging with different kind of Gods

since you drive a civic, look for advancetr AD10 scanner. it is cheap effective and quite handy.

Please experts.... I recently worked on my car, Toyota matrix... The engine knocked, so my mechanic fixed it back.... It works, though timing chain gave us some challenges... Now, the car will seems to think before it accelerate and it always hard for the car to climb a very low slop up... The speedometer is not reading on acceleration.... Please what could be the issue? The socket that that house the cable that connects the speed sensor was broken during mechanical work which left the terminals with only the pins, so rewire put another socket, yet, the speedometer is not working.... He said I should let gear master to check it... I don't want the gear to get tampered with, am scared... Please what could be wrong please... Thanks

I've experienced something similar before wherein the speedometer of my Toyota Matrix stopped working, it was the speed sensors at the tires that failed and my rewire fixed it. Please get a competent rewire to check your speed sensors, if you have a scanner please scan first
