You have to be careful, being a realist doesn't mean one should negate the facts. Ika will be Igbo if they say so themselves. I recently listened to Atiku Abubakar referring to the entire south as being populated by Igbo and yoruba people. Are you Igbo or yoruba? To the average Northerners, a Southeasterner is either Igbo or yoruba. To the average Southeasterner, all Northerners are Hausa, it's this over simplification that gave birth to the WaZoBia fallacy were everything Nigeria is seen from the tripod of Hausa, yoruba and Igbo.

As advanced has the United Kingdom, they never accept one ethnicity. The Scottish, Welsh and Irish guard their cultural heritage jealously, they even maintain separate national sporting teams and Parliaments. This is the way Nigeria should go. Majority of Ika and Ikwerre don't see themselves as Igbo.

Mischievous Edo man.
Where did you conduct the census to determine that the majority of Ika and Ikwerre people don't consider themselves Igbos?

You rushed and posted Wike Video, how about Amaechi video?
How about Okowa video?
Finally you are neither Igbo nor Ika, so why are you taking headache for our in-house issue if not because you are suffering from witchcraft?

How dare you compare SE issue with Ika with those of Welsh?
Are you for real? Wales speak an entirely different language from England and it's well known that England colonized Wales and Scotland and imposed their language.
When exactly did SE did that with Ika.

See, if mischievous Edo people like yourself don't remove your evil eyes from Igbo speaking lands in SS, the likes of UGBE34 will have to bear the brunt of Igbo fight back and meddling into your small minority Edo state to make sure we scatter you mischievous lots there more.
Better be warned.

Re: The Igbos From Benin by Igboid:
Here is what Agbor Patriotic Union had to say about your mischievous Edo history revisionist named Egharevba who tried to claim that Ika and Agbor originated from Bini. They (Ndi Agbor) wrote to the colonial government in 1939 to debunk your mischievous lies and assert superiority over Bini:

"Benin originated from Agbor. Ika had never been subjected to Benin or other trbes. Benins were weaker and fewer before 1897, Benin influence went no further than Ugo. Ikas harrassed Benins wth successful wars which led them to dig the trench around them".

~Agbor Patriotic Union 1939

This is what Chief E A Iduwe an Agbor chief had to say about Bini:

"Agbor speaks Ika dialect, akin to other Igbo tongues but with the special vehicle of Ika culture and image. It is DISTINCT AND DISSIMILAR FROM EDO LANGUAGE and vice versa, even though they said that Agbor was once under Oba's rule. This was so when the Bini were the first to acquire firearms from the Portuguese, and with which they TERRORIZED the neighbouring states. But this state of affairs lasted only for a short time. Agbors liberated themselves before the 18th century.
"Oru asuw Igbo, Igbo asuw Ika" : From this saying, Agbor appear to be the cradle of the Ika dialect and the and the Citadel of IGBO heroes" .

The SE and SS Igbo speaking tribes issues is a family matter and a political issue( fall out of Biafra war loss).
It is one we will resolve in-house.

Any mischievous Edo man nursing the idea of annexing Igbo speaking territories in SS as vassals by exploiting the current political rift in Igboland will be up for some disgrace and rude awakening. Brothers will always resolve and reunite.
"Izu ka mma na nneji", an Ika will understand this too.

Stay off Igbo issues, face your Edo and let Ndiigbo handle our issues in-house.
You have been warned.

Rather than think of how to reconcile with their Esan brothers, try and regain their Edo people carved into Ondo state (Akoko SE), try and bring Edoid brothers like Urhobo, Isoko, Epie-Etissa, Degema, Engenni, into one umbrella.
Shameless Edo people are busy eyeing Igbo speaking Delta North and stupidly thinking of ressurecting their dead Bini empire in a modern world where ethnic nationalism is the "in-thing".

These despicable people see Ndiigbo in SE as their biggest obstacle to annexing Igbo speaking territories in Delta into their modern day empire under the rulership of their Oba.
What a charade.

UGBE34 If your brothers will not stay off Igbo speaking territories in SS, and you can't bring them to order, be ready for Igbo total attack on Bini and everything you lots hold dear. We will leave no stone unturned in coming after you guys.
We are not our parents who were playing cool with you guys, we will not play fair or cool.
Hate will be met with hate, propaganda with propaganda, lies with lies, deceit with deceit.
And guess what, we have the number to overwhelm you guys on this online propaganda war.
Stop trespassing into Igbo issues! Face your Edolands.
On appropriate time, we will exchange Ozanogogo with Igbanke. That's the only business we have with Edo.

Ndiigbo fought Britain, Egypt, and 200 plus ethnic groups in NIGERIA for 2years plus and gave a good account of ourselves.

Your mushroom overhyped Bini empire was ransacked and your fat Oba captured within 3 days by few British soldiers in a simple expedition, not even a war. So much for an overhyped empire.
In contrast Arochukwu fought for 2 months plus in full scale war called Anglo-Aro war.

It took the British decades to subject Western Igbos to colonialism.

And you think you are Igbos mate? You think you can taunt Igbos with Biafra defeat?
The joke is on you.

Stay off Igbo lands in SS. We have not forgotten how your Edo people committed massacres in Anioma during the war and killed many of them in Bini city.

Move on!

It's funny that a character who told me, an Anioma man, that I cannot contribute on an Edoid thread because I was "Igbo" is also here, dragging Anioma and trying to shield us from "Igboness".

Very funny.

IKA IS NOT IGBO AND WOULD NEVER BE!! IKA IS IKA!! Ika is a gazetted tribe in Nigerian constitution! Igbo land starts and end in the tiny south eastern 5 states! This Anioma ppl have rejected you lots both openly and privately!! Leave them the 4uck alone na by force? Tufia!!

These lots went up in arms against Ojukwu because Ojukwu made Dr Okonkwo, an Anioma son from Asaba the governor of the region.
They accused him of imposing Igbo rule on them.
But today, these mischievous shameless beings go about saying that Anioma is Bini descendants and not Igbo.
If that was the case, why were they upset that Ojukwu replaced Ejoor with another Bini man called Dr Okonkwo from Asaba?

Bunch of wicked people.
It will never be well with them.

Bla bla bla bla bla.

Ika is superior to Bini and gave rise to Bini.
Your ancetors dug trenches around you to protect yourselves from the men of valor from Ika tribe of the Igbo nation.
You should be showing respect to your superiors and not claiming them because the Portuguese handed firearms to you.

Meanwhile, you will have to go and talk to Okowa and tell him he doesn't know who he is.

Ndi oshimoshi.

The same Ojukwu(Igbo) that blew up the Onitsha end of the bridge, leaving the Asaba people at the mercy of blood thirsty Murtalla? Ojukwu did this knowing fully well what was going to happen next (Asaba Genocide)

And this Igbo jihadist has the effontery to speak on wickedness?

The Bridge was blown under the command of an Anioma son, and it wasn't blown to trap Anioma people.
It was blown to slow down the advance of Nigerian troops.
All over Igboland bridges were blown to slow Nigerian troops march. The bridge at Imo river in Etche was blown too to delay the match from PH to Owerri.
Anioma people never needed the bridge to come to SE.
Native canoe has always been the means of local transport from Anioma to SE before the bridge was constructed.
Biafra troops knew that Nigerian heavy miliary weapons would need the bridge to cross over, hence to destruction of the bridge.

Nsukka was also quickly abandoned and the troops withdrawn to defend Enugu, leaving Nsukka citizens at the mercy of Nigerian soldiers, since it was assumed that killing of unarmed civilians was not part of war.

You will have to find another excuse why you wicked Edo people joined hands with Nigerians to massacre our Igbo people in Bini and in Aniomaland.

You danced around the truth and ended up digging a bigger pit for your Ibo corpse!

From what you typed and posted it is very easy for those with a sharp unpolluted mind to see Ojukwu blew up all those bridges to safeguard the only people relevant to him "The igbos in the 5 dilapidated SE states"

And left those he felt were "Never Really Igbo " or "Not Igbo Enough" at the mercy of blood thirsty Murtalla!!

This is my last reply to you kid!!

So Nsukka are never really Igbo too?
You are not alright.
It makes sense.

Maybe Enugu was also left and retreat made to Umuahia because Enugu people were not Igbo enough.
Spoken like a typical mischievous Edo man looking for vassals to gain for your Oba.
It wasn't Murtala Mohammed that was doing the massacre of Anioma people alone, your Edo people joined in the frenzy, helping them to point out Igbos (Anioma people) in Bini town.

"After federal forces take over of Benin, troops killed about 500 Igbo civilians after a house-to-house search with the aid of willing locals"
