Start by getting in the habit of washing your face regularly, morning and night. Use a moisturizing soap to wash if you can. And if your face feels dry after each wash, apply a dab of Vaseline mixed with water on your face.

Try this for a week and see if you notice any improvements.

Hey, please don’t listen to anyone saying “use morning or afternoon piss”.. I guess you don’t “just wake up and saw it on your face” like you said. The signs are there before now. Most likely a cyst. Always big and painful. Please see a dermatologist. I’ve been battling acne for a while and these are one of the signs.. Benzol peroxide (10%) usually works.

Most folks in the US use accutane, but the medication is heavily regulated and not sure you can find it in Nigeria. See a dermatologist for a professional diagnosis.

It looks like a boil, from my observation in the picture, you look like someone who has a sensitive skin, boil most times occur from 2 sources, internally or externally through infection or in some cases, excess oil(pimple lump), this one looks like an infection due the speed of the growth, I've had a similar one over night, and it might keep getting bigger and very painful.

Solution:

1. Get amplicux, take 1 in the morning and 1 at night till you finish the sachet.
2. Get a strong anti-bacteria cream from the chemist and rub daily till you begin to see it go down.

Note : this is what I did for mine, I've experienced it like twice. But you can still visit the chemist to help you proper.

To prevent future occurrence, get spirit or detol, anytime you have a cut around your face or private part, apply them immediately, those are the major areas the infection gets its way, I heard people with blood type O suffer from it more, don't know how true...

Best advice is to maintain good personal hygiene bro.

Bath every morning wether you’re going out or not. Also bath before you sleep no matter how tired.

Most of this are caused by dirty dust on the skin or sweats staying long or bad drinking or bathing water.

Even a dab is not needed as it will further clog his pores and cause more breakouts. Vaseline is an occlusive mainly used for dry skin to seal in moisture and not for acne prone problem skin. His skin needs to breathe.

Consider the weather climate over there vs what we have here. Guess its why you can get away with it but definitely not in Nigeria.

If he can afford it, let get a good acne face wash but itvery expensive now. The last time I checked a Neutrogena face wash, it was 8k and only contains two percent which may not do much for this kind of cystic acne.

I would have sold him a diy salicylic face wash at a cheaper rate but I'm done doing anything beyond here with nairalanders. So I can't.
