The Holland I saw today will respect Argentina such that they may not even have up to 3 shots on target in 90mins.

Their forward line press is usually half hearted, I think it's tactical, though they do turn it up a couple notches at times and force their opponents. Their middle/defensive third is where they do their work off the ball; they either win the ball in a crowded middle when you try to play through, or force you to go wide and try to put balls in the box, and they're good at shutting down crosses before they come or clearing them when they do come.

The defense is actually good, height is the major concern. As fancy as Australia looked at times, they never really caused great concern for most of the game save for that mazy Behich dribble. Twas late on that they began to cause serious problems, and Argentina themselves could've had four in that period.

If they try that shit against World Class teams, giving 2/3rd of the pitch to opponents to pick through their back 7, they will pay
