One of my biggest regrets is wasting all that time in the college system when some of my friends who just did their bachelors and went straight into business are far ahead of me today. There was only 1 rally during that time frame as in the US you need a permit to rally. The rally and it's White Supremacist ties were talked about weeks before the actual rally. And anyone who was there or went there understood it was a WHITE NATIONALIST rally. I put those facts out to give you a background of that Trump Press Conference. This wasn't a thing that came out of the blue. It wasn't an organic rally for the statute. It was a continuation of the White Supremacy resurgence that had been growing throughout his presidency. Culminating in what we see now with Kanye and that dinner.

Now Trump has a reason to try to obfuscate what happened that day (those are his supporters), ask yourself what is your reason?
